    GTK# (for linux) Mod Manager

    This is a version i made mainly for myself since Windows.Forms UI didn't work well for me on linux and then completel broke
    anyway .. not much of a features ( applying, updating , etc, etc) based on a source of original modman 1.3.1 split into separate assembly for easier usage

    buttons are for :
    apply mods, check/download updates, refresh list, exit
    column headers are clickable (sorting) , you can also search in list with typing
    needs mono+gtksharp+gnome-vfs-sharp
    some linux distributions name gtksharp as gtk-sharp, some as gtk-sharp2

    download

    sourcecode (pretty bad)
    To install the mod move it to ~/.Heroes of Newerth/game/mods or just drag and drop on manager's window (hold shift to 'move' it, 'copy' otherwise)

    with the last version
    you need to move your mods to ~/.Heroes of Newerth/game/mods (or just drop them on modman window)
    and move (or just delete) resources999.s2z to ~/.Heroes of Newerth/game/

    Ah, many thanks for this, Running a vm just to update mods was fairly irritating!

    umm you could have just run mono (linux-native) and it would run these fine. C# is meant to be OS-agnostic.
    You still need MONO to run this, but now it looks more native

    good work

    Yes, I know, however when I tried HoNModMan under mono it failed horribly

    Couldn't find
    libmono-winforms2.0-cil in portage (Admittedly this is probably a failure on my part)

    yer def looks nicer, the one user windows forms had text rendering issues so was really hard to use sometimes

    What I have found is that if I have the mods in ~/.Heroes\ of\ Newerth/game/mods they don't show up but if I have them within the old location, they do.

    I don't know why but I just can't drag and drop .hmod file into mod list.

    (HoN_Modman:6002): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_sort_column_id: assertion `list_store->default_sort_func != NULL' failed
    This show when I start the program

    ok, i updated it
    all mods moved to ~/.Heroes of Newerth/

    you need to move your mods to ~/.Heroes of Newerth/game/mods
    and move (or just delete) resources999.s2z to ~/.Heroes of Newerth/game/

    also, you can now drop honmod files on modmanager window (both copy and move actions supported)

    I got mono and gtk-sharp-2. It gives me these warnings in console:

    (HoN_Modman.exe:10599): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times

    (HoN_Modman.exe:10599): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_sort_column_id: assertion `list_store->default_sort_func != NULL' failed

    It still opens the window but it doesn't load mods or anything. Thanks for nothing.
