ElementUser 601
Details have been updated. We changed the tournament timespan to take place over 2 days and increased the prize pool because of the time commitment it takes from players to make it for the entire tournament.

ElementUser 601
Important note regarding this tournament Frostburn Studios & HoN OMG have reason & evidence beyond the shadow of a doubt to determine that the team "Elin's Insight" has negatively impacted this tournament's competitive integrity. Players at this level should know how to draft seriously and try their very best, particularly in Game 2 of Grand Finals when they were already down Game 1 in a BO3 set. By not picking a solid hero in their team composition at all & picking niche heroes instead of not even having at least 1 reliable top/high tier generalist hero on their team when they are already down a game in Game 2 is pretty much the equivalent of throwing a game intentionally. These choices have led to poor viewership feedback and affects the public perspective of the tournament organizers for their future tournaments. Note that this does not mean unconventional builds are disallowed - it means that if you are down 1 game in a BO3+ set, players should at least draft & play with some sense of optimal convention to maintain the spirit and integrity of the tournament - particularly when their skill level shows that they without a doubt know better. Players should also try their best throughout the tournament, and the sloppy draft is evidence enough to prove that they did not try their best in Grand Finals. This is a stern warning to other competitors that any attempt to ruin the integrity of the tournament will potentially result in disqualification and have their earnings removed from the prize pool. Any future offences of similar nature conducted by the team or any current member of "Elin's Insight" will result detrimentally on their future involvement in tournaments. ___ Due to their actions, the prize pools have been adjusted as follows: 2nd place: 6000 GC -> 4000 GC for the team 3rd & 4th place: 2000 GC -> 3000 GC for each team Edited May 11, 2020 by ElementUser
