Silhouette Damage Nerf

Anyone else feel like her damage is just way to much? I've seen her so many times burst down heroes even at low levels doing 1k damage almost instantly since she has almost permanent 400 attack speed when she wants. 

 

I've also always found silhouette to be much harder to kill than any other ranged hard carry. She's also supposed to be a relatively squishy hero but she her grapple ability has an extremely long range (like half the screen) and a disjoint ultimate with a built in grimoire that makes her way better than almost all ranged carries in terms of survivability.  Since her E scales so well at outputting a ton of burst damage all she has to do is buy survivability items like geos/shrunken/nullstone not even have to bother buying any damage items making her even harder to kill and lockdown.

To elaborate - unless Diabetis wishes to correct me: Sil has always had a high skill-cap. Unleashing her full damage potential is meant to reward practice and skilled play. Even so, in the competitive scene she makes for an above average carry/hero at best and has never been viewed as an OP hero. She IS meant to have much higher survivability and mobility than most squishy ranged heroes in the early-mid game, but that comes at a cost of a lower carry potential than typical ranged hard carries e.g. FA, MQ. This is mitigated somewhat by her split push potential.... but if you go into late game having bought purely defensive and mobility items like PK, Geos, Shrunken, Null - you're going to be heavily punished by the enemy for simply not outputting the damage you need to be doing as a carry. This was most noticeable in one of the 2014 Hon Tour final matches between BMG and MRR where the Thai-played Silh awed everyone with his reflexes but his highly defensive itemization made it impossible to compete with the enemy Puppet. Granted this was in 2014, but Silh has still been left untouched since.

Basically, she doesn't need a nerf. If you're having that much trouble with her, stack AOE damage and buy an Arcane Bomb for her ult. There are also so many cheap items: Scepter, Tablet etc. to remove her Nullstone.

Actually, she is support to be a bursted carry in close range. If you notice, she is suffer from keeping her distance to enemy. That'd why many buff/nerf before related to her attack range.

so, to answer your thread, she is fine as long you stay outside her range. And she require a lot of items to carry her team, more than advance

She is a fine carry without cc skill and focus on split push
