HoN x64 Crash while attempting patch

Hello,

 

I have a fresh install of HoN x64 that is crashing when attempting to download the latest patch. If I say no to the patch, the client seems to behave normally (albeit unable to play online, due to outdated client)

I was able to upload the crash files using the built-in reporter, but can attach them to this thread later today.

I was having the same issue last night, decided not to update and was still able to play. Despite a banner along the top saying "A newer version of HoN is available, you must update to play online"

Updater will get approx 1/3 of the way through applying update when it freezes.

This is because the patch was a hot fix version, this is normal behavior but its quintessential this is resolved before next proper patch.

I found your 3 crash uploads and its related to nvd3dumx.dll, which is part of your nvidia drivers.

This is a very hard issue to debug and is per PC, I'll need to get in touch with you to debug this, we have recieved quit a few crash reports of the same type, but its not related to the update directly.
