  1. It's been weeks, no sign of the patch on Garena.
  2. Per title. He's already capable of initiating (with a considerable amount of damage too) from stealth; if he's able to jump after taking damage then it doubles as a powerful escape mechanism when he's spotted jumping. Goldenveil is still countered by Arcane Bomb, but it is a fairly pricey item to farm when its only application is to counter one enemy hero. Notably Tempest/Pestilence are already unable to jump when they take hero damage. Pearl can, but the range is pretty short so it's not really an escape.
  3. There's a new way to DOS and you don't even have to start the game - you can time out everyone in the picking lobby. A small box shows up that says "packet loss, you can wait or reconnect" and this is what the Ctrl + F8 log looks like. It's quickly getting to the point of why even bother logging on.
  4. Only works on uncoordinated teams and/or Artillery players who itemize poorly. Good players defend their carry, and Pharaoh is pretty squishy (outside of his primary attribute he has no innate tankiness). Artilleries that get Geo, or even worse Tablet (costs less than 2k gold) are very hard to solo kill with Pharaoh, maybe even impossible.
  5. Here's a more detailed response to your post: - Flux does not have "insane semi-carry potential". Lots of heroes outscale him. Think about it - what does he actually have that lets him carry, his W? That's not even comparable to the likes of Aluna's Q and E. He does need massive AoE teammates to excel because if your entire team is single-target heroes like Arachna and Predator, you can't capitalize on opponents being all clumped up. Since we don't have glaring imbalances right now (lots of underpowered heroes/items, but nothing really overpowered), improve matchmaking and/or the gameplay experience: - Don't let matchmaking put you in the same team as someone you ignored or banlisted - Make smurfs play against other smurfs - Shorten queue times for players at the top of the MMR range - Make it so that people who don't concede actually play and are not, e.g., AFKing in some corner of the map or hiding in the base and never getting off high ground| - Find some creative way to make people not pick all-carry lineu

  10. Make it so it can only target heroes (because who uses it on creeps anyway ...). The key difference in practice would be so you can reliably Sand Scepter Deadlift when he charges at you with his summons out.
  11. How about making it so that stats reset can set your MMR to any number from 1500 to the current MMR? This makes it so that you can drop rating (to find games faster), but not go all the way to 1500 where the games might not be enjoyable. Of course, implementing a cap on MMR would be even better.

Apex/Adrenaline/Goldenveil/Xemplar etc are all below average. Tarot icon is the one that's available on Tier List Maker.   14. Caveat, this is a one-person effort by me, so the list is very vulnerable to my biases. I only see what happens in my own games, and it's also been a really long time since I played a MW tournament game. Only ranking the above average heroes because for some reason the Tier List Maker website does not allow me to add more tiers. I'm sure it used to allow me to do this, so it must be a recent bug.   16. Eh, if this is implemented and you want to group queue, don't stats reset. If you implement something naive like "you need to play X games before you can play TMM", my money is on there being game farms like this.

  18. Ambivalent - you could try it but I doubt too much will change. Maybe people will walk forwards to get last hits, but it'll always be dangerous, and some players won't do it anyway. It could also make certain heroes like Gladiator much stronger (and Accursed/Prisoner/Devo are all melee). If the game mode is implemented I'll give it a try but I strongly suspect I'll soon go back to playing the "normal" mode.
  19. Smurfing sucks, especially since it feels like it's actively dissuading me from group queuing because once I do I will run into smurfs. Ideas: 1. If you stats reset, you cannot group queue until X number of games played. 2. Even better, you cannot group queue until Y minutes of games played. No joining and leaving and manipulating stats. 3. Even better, you cannot group queue until your stats (win rate, KD, GPM, etc) are not anomalously high or low relative to the other players in the games you've played.   20. You're discovering that MQ is not a "strong carry" in the sense that she beats other carries 1v1. In fact she is pretty bad. Her advantages are her ultimate (with which she can join teamfights early and be useful), her ability to initiate for gankers (via her Q), and her natural farming ability. It's not surprising that Ravenor wins a straight up 1v1 (he didn't even have Brutalizer). Vindi helps but is not a full-fledged counter because he will also be pulled by Flux, and quite possibly stunned before he can ult (his ultimate also takes longer to cool down than Flux's).   22. The idea is that you pick some very powerful AoE ultimates and then hug tower until you want to fight. This could be, e.g., when you have BKBs, have ultimates, and so on.
