  1. The updated script will be publicly posted when it is successfully completed (if at all will be completed).
  2. This is Theli's K2 Model/Animation Import-Export script I am trying to upgrade to multiversion.
  3. Eh, I still can't get my hands on to finish updating the script to the multi-version, which should work on Blender below 2.80 and Blender 2.80 and above.
  4. Editing hero.entity file looks correct. At least for now. However, I still don't understand why you are copying the following 2 files: <copyfile name="heroes\hammerstorm\model.mdf" overwrite="yes" /> <copyfile name="heroes\hammerstorm\preview.mdf" overwrite="yes" /> These files are not used because you changed the paths to them in the hero.entity file: <find><![CDATA[model="model.mdf"]]></find> <replace><![CDATA[model="alt3/model.mdf"]]></replace> <find><![CDATA[previewmodel="pre
  5. I downloaded your honmod twice, but I still get honmod in where you copy the entire .entity files, and don't edit it. You can copy any files (.effect, .mdl, .ogg, .tga, etc.), but the .entity files need to be edited. The search here goes from top to bottom of the file. The search starts from line 1, if the search condition is not satisfied, then the search continues in line 2, and so on until the search condition is satisfied. The next search starts from the place of the last search. In this case, the last search was <find><![CDATA[model="pog_skin/model.mdf"]]><
  6. I see, this is what I was afraid of. This is a fake honmod which differs from s2z mod only by its extension. The survivability of such a honmod is exactly the same as that of the parent s2z mod. In true honmod changes in .entity file are made by editing the desired lines, rather than copying the entire file. This increases the survivability of such a honmod exponentially. I recommend downloading my honmod for the Hammerstorm (link in my previous posts) to analyze it.
  7. Hi Fox`Tail. Can you post an example of a honmod created by your program? I would like to check something.
  8. Sorry, but I don't have the psychic ability to figure out what you did wrong. I need your mod file so I can try to help you. I recently had to work with a mod (resources_Hammerstorm.s2z) made by your program, and I would like to say a few words about it: 1. Your program leaves too many junk files that exponentially increase the likelihood of errors and game crashes. On the left is a mod made by me (https://www.dropbox.com/s/kdc8y7bqz01n473/locksmasher.honmod?dl=0). On the right is the mod made by your program with many junk files. 2. Your program has incorr
  9. Even though your question is off-topic, here is a link to the topic in which I shared an add-on for Blender 2.6x (Blender 2.8+ is not supported): https://www.reddit.com/r/HeroesofNewerth/comments/mfkd6q/updated_tools_to_export_models/gstkch1/?context=3 Next time, please ask questions in the relevant topics.
  10. This is not a terrain mod, but a completely new custom map (like Element TD). Terrain mod is the replacement of models of trees, rocks, cliffs, etc., that is, only visual changes. This custom map can only be played on a local server.
  11. Stumps.honmod: https://trello.com/c/LuCiacXx/15-stumps
  12. 1. `resources_%heroname%.s2z` file into a `/game` HoN directory. 2. Open `resources_%heroname%.s2z` file using any archiver and follow the instructions in my post above.
  13. Red_Tornado_Miku_Metal[THINT].honmod: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hqrkf30aftkmhyy/Red_Tornado_Miku_Metal[THINT].honmod?dl=0 Version 1.1 (April 29, 2021)
  14. First, why don't you ask the author of this mod to fix it? Secondly, when you ask someone to fix a mod, please post a working link to download it.
  15. My post above talks about how to fix the animation problem.
  16. I'll try to update my gluttony.honmod when I get back from work. UPD: gluttony.honmod v1.3: https://www.dropbox.com/s/30er3qxaczz4uwa/gluttony.honmod?dl=0
  17. Plugins only work with the versions of 3ds max for which they were written. As far as I know, it is no longer possible to get older versions of 3ds max officially. The only option is to find the cracked version.
  18. Link to resourcesPudge_Dota2.s2z still works fine.
  19. I saw your request and even started making something like this: However, I don't have time to finish this. That's why I did not respond to your request.
  20. Queen of Fools as Monkey King Description: Replaces the default Monkey King model with the fixed avatar Queen of Fools model. Preview screenshot: Changelog: Download link: queen_of_fools.honmod Installation & Usage: All rights to the original models, animations, textures, sounds and effects belong to Frostburn Studios. PS: Dear Newerthians, I sincerely wish everyone a Happy New Year 2021! I sincerely wish you health, every success in work and undertakings, happiness and wellbeing!
  21. You are absolutely right about that. I believe that this section needs Modification Rules, which will contain the rules for the topic titles design. The topic title should be as descriptive as possible so that players don't have to check each topic for the mod they want. For example: Pacman as Defiler - Super Smash Bros (.s2z) From this example, the player will immediately understand that this is Pacman from Super Smash Bros game as Defiler in .s2z format. Also, I would be very happy if the tag rules from the old forum returned ([Support],[App],[Hero],[UI Mod],[Guide],[Model],[Texture]
  22. It seems something's wrong with the link. I also got "The key you provided for file access was invalid." when I tried to download it.
