For me it does, because you can encourage behavior through changing mechanics. Nerfing by the very mean of its word is not basically removing. It is still there, though doing it will probably make no sense. Something I would endorse, but that is a matter of taste of course. Thanks for the clarification, it helps me understand your position. Though I do not see the obvious good effects on the well being of the game, I see the bad ones. Argumentation styles are different, mine has served me well so far.

You can. You can also put an elephant in a tutu and let him throw confetti into the air while doing pirouettes. My first sentence was: Nevertheless you bring up removing the jungle. Could you please read what I have written before posting and not quote me if you don't refer to what I have posted at all? Thank you. And it's an excellent point of view. Agreed to 99%.

The discussion here has recently shifted towards nerfing the jungle, not removing it. Of course. But the amount of griefing in this game compared to similar ones brings the term ridiculous to my mind. It could be reduced heavily, but that to happen is written in the stars. You are neglecting a huge factor. As far as I know experience in HotS is splitted between the whole team. Thus to farm in the jungle is unconditionally benefiting every single player in the team. In HoN, this is not the case at all. You can farm all game, buy the most expensive items, then sell them before le

Thanks for the information. If you anticipate, that nerfing Zamos+Grave and buffing the map for jungle will lead to frustration, why do you implement it at all? One could get to the impression this change is intented to frustrate the players. HoN is a team game for sure. What a pity a lot players actually don't give a flip about their team. So as good as the intentions with that change are, encouraging the aspect of the game which contains killing computer controlled units as efficiently as possible, can hardly be considered an improvement of the team aspect of the game. I love when that happens! ? Thanks for paying attention. ?
  6. I see. The pivot seems to be the manpower in my harmful opinion. Glad you're trying to man up. However as I've written earlier, it's hard to blame players for not knowing what griefing actually is. The informations given through the game are rather scarce and I guess the percentage of players active on the forums in relation to the player base is very low. Even I lack a strong understanding of the very details of griefing and I am trying pretty bad to get a better grip on it. No offense, but I'm pretty sure you're actually filtering a lot of good reports. (Not sure if mine are g
  7. What's the outcome if you type /pa in a game?
  8. Hello Frédéric, if you want to become a GM you can apply here. Since the GMs are handling tons of applications, it will take a time for your application to get reviewed. I don't know if the developers are in need of moderators right now. Bon soir.
  9. It's so nice of you guys to make all these suggestions. But since MVP is purely cosmetic I doubt anything about it will even make it to the developers minds.
  10. That absolutely makes sense. At least I did. However I would consider ~4000 words a medium sized terms of service text. Yet the only clauses I remember were the ones about piracy, refunds, warranty, no reason for termination needed, etc. Could you state a clause which refers to malicious behavior by players in a game? Yes of course. Good to know. I am wondering if reviewing this policy to just check reports for the selected categories in conjunction with reviewing every report not just the ones submitted by multiple people would have a positive effect on the extent of griefing.
  11. Good it is! Not at all. I was pointing out that leaves not much room for interpretation. Thank you for the clarification. A lot of conditions to put into consideration though. I don't know where a normal player should get that information from in order to distinguish legal, grey area and illegal. Or the hero/player role I guess. Classic: Andromeda saves the carry hero/player on the team. (and probably dies for it) In my opinion case by case basis is necessary because you just can't put every single situation that might occur into written rules. H
  12. Didn't knew that. In my opinion dual mid in 99% of the cases is used to cause somebody grief. I have literally not been in a single game where dual mid was intended. Classic: Somebody calls mid and selects a mid hero -> 2 players random horrible heroes -> one of the randoms calls mid -> goes mid making it a dual lane. ? You can imagine what the rest of those games will look like. (first mid disconnects, enemies [All]: Free MMR!, 30 minutes match since allies don't like to concede, loss) That's horrible. Since it means an invisible/stealthed player is obliged t
  13. Thanks man! I guess the only case where you could be 99% sure who the one not conceding is, would be if you're on a 4 man team, and the 5th is a random and the concede fails. That category has a value for sure. Maybe it got removed. Pretty hard to find out who's the one not conceding if you solo queue. Even if 4 players tell they passed, no safe shot that the 5th guy is refusing to concede, since there are tons of liars in the player base.

I feel you man, since I play a lot of support myself. One option would be to constantly attack the own creeps below 50%. Another option would be to pick a support with a strong pull, like Plague Rider. This would punish tower hugging since there would be no creeps in range to leech experience from and if he attempts to leech give a probably easy kill.

I actually think this would be a good idea. Make the creeps appear at min 5 (to make sure nobody afk's until then) or min 10. Will encourage players to communicate, set up good plays in order to win the early. From there on there is no reason to stop if it has been going well. Cut the enemies farm off by camping the jungle. Or try to defend your owns. If it doesn't go well, just 5 mins to a probable concede if the creeps appear at min 10. Not much time a griefer could spend afk in the jungle, and he'll get probably rather get killed then actually doing profit. I'm in favour.
  16. I like your suggestion very much! ? See him picked rather rare though.
  17. How do you know there were LAT players? The CIS region is region-locked to their servers? ??? Where are those Russian speaking griefers on EU servers from then? Democratic Republic of Congo? There are 50 Million Spanish speaking people in the US, 60 Million in Europe. Not sure what region you're playing, but they will surely get somebody to speak Spanish with in EU and US. (including me) And probably they are playing in your region because they actually are from the US or Europe and playing on the region with the lowest ping. You mean excluding them would be better for a sm
  18. @hegelsohn Here: Oh, as I'm typing this I probably got the sentence wrong. I understood only in the sense of "the only thing" which would mean you don't have to defend the last tower before the barracks. However I see that you meant only in connection to "in case" in the sense of "under the condition". So what you meant is you don't have to defend the barracks if you have no chance to defend it.
  19. I instantly had to think about becoming the copied hero permanently. And/or to be displayed as the real hero (with minimap icon, etc) until first attack. Probably could be overpowered or technically impossible but would definately add some sick twisted plays and a new layer. Pretty much like the Spy in TF2.
