Jungling is the act of killing the neutral creeps for experience and money.

The most important thing about jungling is knowing how the respawns work.

Type of Neutrals

There are 4 different types of creep camps.

They are:

  • Easy
  • Medium
  • Hard
  • Ancient

Creeps and heroes have a "call for help" range of 600, where its allies will focus aggression on anyone attacking it. Fighting a neutral creep within 600 range of any neutral camp will draw other neutrals out, they do not have to be from the same camp.

Re-spawns

The first neutral creep spawn is at 00:30 on the game clock, after that they re-spawn at every XX:00 on the game clock. This means 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 and so on.

Neutral creeps will only re-spawn if nothing is within 500 units of the re-spawn location.

Things that block the spawn

  • Heroes
  • Creeps
  • Pets
  • Gadgets
  • Corpses
  • Wards

Things that don't block the spawn

  • Dropped items

Because Corpses block the spawns it is ideal to have killed all creeps in the camp before XX:39 as it takes 5 seconds for flesh to decay and 15 seconds for bones to decay.

Stacking

Stacking is when you lure the neutrals outside of the 500 units so that another lots spawns, each neutral camp except for the easy camp can only be stacked twice (so 3 spawns of units).

The ideal method to stack a creep camp is to walk into the camp close enough at XX:51 - XX:54 (depending on the camp) so that the creeps' aggression is on you, then walk out and away from the camp with the creeps following you, they will follow for about 5 seconds, and so when they go to return they will still not be back when XX:00 comes, thus a new lots of creeps spawn.

Blocking

Blocking refers to blocking the a spawn point in the enemy jungle intentionally to prevent the other team from farming. This is most commonly done with long-lasting gadget, especially Wards of Sight. However, hero-specific gadget (such as Keeper of the Forest's Tree Sight or Scout's Electric Eye) can also be used to block spawns.

Creep Pulling

Creep Pulling is the act of pulling creeps into a lane. There are several camps on which you can do this on both Hellbourne and Legion. The standard way to do this is to walk close enough around XX:45-XX:51 to a camp and lure the creeps to intercept your teams creeps. This is useful as it stops the lane from being close to the opponents tower allowing a person solo laning to have an easier time and provides more experience and gold.
