Bang! Control Freak Alpha For Testing Purposes Only

Download Honmod: Here FL: 0.5
Ingame detailed instructions requires: Bang! LibDoc

There is a txt file with some extra info inside the honmod. You can unzip the file or use libDoc to read it.
  • Control groups are saved permanently and automatically remembered per hero
  • Summoned units (Malphas, Voodoo Wards, Puzzle Box etc) are automatically added to current selection
  • Ctrl-RClick to send attack/move command to minions without having to select them
  • Minion cooldown display for use with "Advanced Minion Control". Shows cooldowns and hotkeys in a movable and resizable bar.
  • Selection and grouping is automated using ability and inventory activation watches. Alternatively, you can disable this and use a hotkey.
  • Minion detection is done without a database, all new heroes and minions should work automatically
  • 2 Hotkey minion ability activation styles:
  • Minion Ability Cycle - 1 Press cycling to and activation of first available ability from units in selection
  • Advanced Minion Control - Individual hotkeys for each minions ability for precision control
Important:
This mod changes how you play with multiple units significantly. I strongly recommend you try it out in practice mode first to become accustomed to it (especially the ctrl click, minion abilities, and slight delay after summon).

Setup:

This setup is divided into parts for the various features.

Auto Selection:
By default, this mod will add any new minions you summon to your selection.
You can change this behaviour to either select all units, or no units.
This is done in the Mod Options Framework.

Ctrl-RClick to send commands to minions without selecting them:
Open your standard game options and bind 'CtrlFreak Secondary' to your Secondary button (usually right mouse click).
If you are using Right Click Deny and/or Bang! Passive Aggressive, this bind will also work for that.

Save/Load Control Groups:
Open your standard game options to the controls section. Bind the keys marked 'CrtlFreak Save Selection #'. These will replace your standard Save Selection binds and they function in the same way.
If you wish to bind Tundras 'cat' to 3 and bird to 2 permanently, just selected each in turn and press the new hotkey as normal.
You do not need to rebind the Load Selection, Add to Selection, or Remove Selection keys.
Control groups 7, 8, 9, and 0 are now being used by the mod, and you cannot manually save binds to select to these groups. (You can still use those numbers for hotkeys, just not those actual control groups)
The mod provides 3 new selection binds found in the Control Freak menu in Mod Options Framework.
These binds are 'Select Hero', 'Select All Minions' and 'Select All'. You can use these instead of normal binds and unlike normal binds they do not need to be resaved each game.

Cycle Minion Abilities:

Open the Control Freak menu in Mod Options Framework.
Bind the keys marked Cycle Minion Ability 0 (Q) - Cycle Minion Ability 3 (R).
Set the 'Minion Ability Cycle' options as you like.

Advanced Minion Controls:
Open the Control Freak menu in Mod Options Framework.
Bind the keys marked Minion 1 Ability 0 (Q) - Minion 10 Ability 3 (R).
Set the 'Advanced Minion Controls' options as you like.

Auto Detect Summons:
Leaving this enabled is the default setting that works for the standard mod functions.
Disabling this removes the delay associated with selecting units and therefore could be useful for slower PCs, as you can still use the Mod Selection Binds (Select Hero, Select Minions, Select All).
All other mod functions will cease to work however, unless you use the manual minion selection hotkey.

Blacklist Hero:
This hotkey is useful if you wish to use Control Freak for some heroes but not for others.

Known Issues:

Tempest minion split detection is removed for now.
Rune illusion split detection is removed for now.

I was asked by S2 to create an all-in-one mod that would help DotA players transition to HoN, now they have no excuse!
  • Replaces all DotA port heroes and items with their original icons
  • Adds DotA equivilant name to heroes and items, this works in all tooltips ingame and in the compendium
  • Option to replace default HoN ability hotkeys with the original dota hotkeys, click the chicken or use mod options framework to enable

Bang! Passive Aggressive

Download HonMod Here FL: 0.1

Effectively changes your hero from 'Aggressive Stance' to 'Passive Stance'
  • Prevents hero automatically attacking targets if not told to do so
  • Prevents hero automatically chasing targets if not told to do so

Solves these issues:

  • I missed the deny so my hero decided to attack a random creep
  • I was checking the map and my hero decided chasing engineer through his ultimate was a great idea
  • I have to constantly press Hold/spam Move while laning to avoid messing up my last hits
Setup Instructions:
  • In your standard controls tab, rebind your right click (or alternative secondary button) to "PA Secondary"
  • If you are using Right Click Deny, then simply rebind your Right Click Deny button.
    Right Click Deny must be the updated version from this thread.
  • Bind the toggle hotkey to quickly enable and disable the mod ingame
Notes on Function:
  • Does not override autoattack, you will autoattack until the target dies or you tell your hero to do something else
  • Applies only when your hero is the active unit. If you select your minions and give them orders they will be 'aggressive'. If they are in a selection with your hero they will be 'passive'.

Bang! Unit Frames
Download HonMod Here
FL: 3
  • This mod provides both easy to use preset templates and the ultimate in unitframe customisation.
  • 10 Preset layouts, suited to either strictly need-to-know information for gaming or infomation-overload for spectating.
  • 6 ability styles, pick whichever suits you! Includes detailed yet highly visible Bang Icons, Timers Bars, standard UI coloured bars, and the Bard style for those who like that.
  • Hover options - no more pressing F10 to mute the guy constantly coughing over VOIP. Disabling hover options will enable portrait click-targetting.
    Left click the X to ignore and autofill banlist for the target player. Right click to toggle No Help.
  • Insane amount of options accessible via Mod Options Framework
  • Change the background, the border, the gloss, the text, the size, the shape, the layout and the positioning
  • Everything is movable via Movable Frames. Frames can be split up and set seperately per team.
  • Bar effects - Fog and Shadow
  • Still not happy? Build your own unitframe to your taste with Precision Object Placement!
  • Compatible with the default UI, SpecUI, and MiniUI.

Basic Setup:
(Best done in a replay after selecting yourself)

To refresh your ally information (useful after you have changed options) double tap F10.
Default Unit Frames and some other default UI frames can be disabled in the Main Options.
  1. In the Main Options - Choose whether to enabled in-game, as a spectator, or both.
  2. Under Detailed Customisation Modes - Choose whether to use a single set of frames ingame, or to use a different set depending on your team
  3. Choose your ingame and spectator layouts, or leave them at default
  4. Choose your ability style or leave it at the default. You must use a style that matches the layout ie bars with bars, icons with icons.
  5. Use movable frames to position your unitframes. Selecting your perspective in a replay is a good way to do this.
  6. If you are setting up each team seperately, select a player from the enemy team and repeat step 5.
  7. Movable frames does not work in the spectator interface at the time of writing, however, you are able to drag the frames by clicking an invisible handle just above the top frame.
  8. If you're happy with the result you're done, if you want to customise further go to the next section

To Shrink or Grow the entire frame:

  1. Open movable frames
  2. Shift click all the frames you wish to scale
  3. Hold shift and drag the box smaller or larger as desired

To split the frames up individually (2x2 or 4x1 etc):

To reload your interface: Open your console (Ctrl-F8) and type 'reloadinterfaces' without quotes. Press enter and close the console.
  1. Make sure your frames are positioned roughtly where you want them and you have completed the basic setup
  2. Enable Move Individual Players under Detailed Customisation Modes
  3. Make sure that 'Precision Object Placement' is DISABLED/UNCHECKED
  4. Reload your interface
  5. Move them using Movable Frames

Advanced Setup: (For power users - will not be giving support for this!)

To reload your interface: Open your console (Ctrl-F8) and type 'reloadinterfaces' without quotes. Press enter and close the console.

To save time by duplicating frames:
  1. Complete the next section for frame 0 (the top frame)
  2. In Detailed Customisation Modes click 'Clone Frame 0'
  3. Reload your interface
  4. Drag select in Movf to move all elements at once
  5. Now you have 4(5) copies of that frame!
If you want to have complete control over frame elements:
  1. Make sure your frames are positioned roughtly where you want them and you have completed the basic setup
  2. Using mod options framework, disable the elements you dont want in your unitframes.
  3. Enable Precision Object Placement under Detailed Customisation Modes
  4. Make sure that 'Move Individual Players' is DISABLED/UNCHECKED
  5. Reload your interface
  6. All elements are now movable using Movable Frames and can be positioned as you wish. I recommend using Movables Frames' Precision Mode (bars will go red)
  7. Start with frame 0 (the top frame), as you can duplicate this frame to the others
  8. Move the smaller front elements out of the way, position/resize the larger back elements, then move the small ones back in front.
  9. Precision Object Placement overrides the standard options, you must use the reset button if you wish to change layouts (or if you mess up)
  10. Leave Precision Object Placement enabled, you're done!

Bang! Library Mods
Mods in this part of the post add functionality that other mods can use. You won't gain anything by installing these unless another mod requires you to do so:

Bang! lib Chat Parser
Download HonMod Here

  • Allows other mods to read and respond to ingame chat messages

Modders:

Simply use
Code:
watch="bang_send_gm"
Param0 is the most recent chat message seen.
bang_send_gm: Game Message
bang_send_lm: Lobby Message
bang_send_glm: Game Lobby Message

Bang! lib DB Mod Database
Download HonMod Here

  • Designed for Mods that need to save a lot of information to the startup.cfg using SetSave
  • Easy to use database
  • Uses only 1 line of the startup.cfg file per mod

Modders:

Create your DB at the start of your mod using this line:
Code:
<instance name="libDB" dbname="YourModName" />
Save your variables with:
Code:
CallEventParams('libDB_SavePanel_YourModName', 'variableName',  'value')
Thats it! Variables created are named: libDB_YourModName_variableName

Bang! lib Doc
Download HonMod Here

  • Allows mods to have an ingame changelog/faq/etc
  • Easy to use, content is taken from a .txt file in the .honmod

Modders:

I recommend you use this library as a soft dependancy, do not use a requirement line - use a condition instead.

In your mod xml:

Code:
    <copyfile name="ui/fe2/libDoc/YourModName.txt"  source="YourModName.txt" />

    <applyafter name="Bang! libDoc" />

    <editfile name="ui/fe2/bang_libDoc.package" condition="'Bang!  libDoc'">

    <find><![CDATA[<!-- libDoc: INSERT YOUR INSTANCES AFTER THIS COMMENT -->]]></find>

    <insert position="after"><![CDATA[
        <instance name="bang_libDoc" mod="YourModName" label="Your  Mod Name With Spaces Or Whatever" />
    ]]></insert>
    </editfile>
In YourModName.txt:

Text in changelog format (the same as ingame chat).

Bang! lib Slash
Download HonMod Here

Allows other mods to set their own slash commands

For Modders:

Installing via your mod.xml with HonModMan:
Code:

    <!-- libSlash -->
    <requirement name="Bang! libSlash" />
    <applyafter name="Bang! libSlash"  />
    <editfile name="ui/bang_libslash.package">

     <find><![CDATA[<!-- libSlash: INSERT YOUR INSTANCES AFTER THIS COMMENT -->]]></find>

    <insert position="after"><![CDATA[
        <instance name="bang_libslash_template"  index="InsertNameHere" slash="InsertSlashCommandHere"  action="InsertActionHere" />
        <instance name="bang_libslash_template"  index="InsertNameHere" slash="InsertSlashCommandHere"  action="InsertActionHere" />
    ]]></insert>

    </editfile>

Instance Attributes Explained:

Code:
    attribute           value         |    Description
<instance
    name="bang_libslash_template"     |      The template (always bang_libslash_template)

    index="InsertNameHere" | The name of your slash command (String A-Z and underscores, no spaces)
                                            - This will create a panel  called bang_libslash_panel_{index}

    slash="myslashcommand"            |      Slash command (String A-Z)

    action="Command('arguments')"     |      Action to take (e.g. TeamChat('Hello world') or  Trigger('my_triggername', var, var2))
                                            No closing semicolon!
/>
Single part commands:
e.g.
Code:
<instance name="bang_libslash_template" index="TestSlashOne" slash="color" action="Call('my_image_name', 'SetColor(\'blue\');')" />
will respond to the input '/color' by setting the color of 'my_image_name' to blue.

e.g.
Code:
    <instance name="bang_libslash_template" index="TestSlashOne" slash="trigs" action="Trigger('my_trigger_name', var, var2)" />
will respond to the input '/trigs' triggering 'my_trigger_name'.

Two part commands:

You can create slash commands with two parts, the first identifies the command, and the second is passed to the action portion as a variable called bang_libslash_param_{index}
e.g.
Code:
<instance name="bang_libslash_template" index="TestSlashOne" slash="print" action="LocalChat('Printing: ' # bang_libslash_param_TestSlashOne)"  />
will respond to the input '/print My Text Here' by displaying 'Printing: My Text Here' in LocalChat.

Code:
   0.1: Tester commit.

Bang! Smurf Scrolling Message Frame
Download HonMod Here

  • Scrolling Message Frame
  • Can be used by other mods to highlight important information or give notifications
  • The contents and appearance of the messages are customisable/movable

Movie Clip

Modders:
Code:

 text: String to be displayed
 font: Font to be used
 fontcolour: Font colour to be used (nb. correct spelling)
 type: 1 (scrolling) or 2 (notification)
 iconpath: Path to icon displayed with text

  Example: 1
 If(VarExists('bang_smurf_exists'), Trigger('bang_smurf_message', 'Hello  World', 'dyn_32', 'red', '1', '/items/basic/mana_eye/icon.tga'));

 Example: 2
 If(VarExists('bang_smurf_exists'), Trigger('bang_smurf_message', 'This  is how to use blank Params', '', '', '', ''));
Code:
  1.11: Fixed click stealing textbox.
  1.10: Now instantiates for betterness. Several new features for mods to use (backwards compatible). Inifinite messages at once. Scrolling messages will seperate on spawn to prevent overlap.
  1.0: Initial commit.

FAQ

Q) Mod manager says that this mod requires XXXXX. Wtf?

A) Reread the first post, you are looking for the big cyan word 'Requirements'.

Q) Mod manager says XXXX has caused a problem. HALP?

A) Check your mods and hon are up to date. Disable all mods but the one with the problem and see if it works. If it does, re enable mods until you find which one breaks it. Either way, post here with the mod, the error, and incompatibility.

Q) The download link says 'Download currently not available'. OMG!

A) If that is the case - I already know about it. It means a mod is down while I fix a bug.

Q) Do Bang! Mods auto update?

A) Yup, all of them.

Q) How can I move X Frame?

A) Click the movable frames button and drag it.

Q) I hide a frame with Movable Frames but it comes back/bad stuff happens. Wtf?

A) Bang! mods are designed to be hidden using Mod Options Framework. Dont use Movable Frames to do it.

Q) I can't see the Chat Macro Keys Buttons!

A) ...turn them on in the options.

Q) I cant install mods. Where is the Mods folder. My mods dont work. How do I install mods?

A) This is not my department, go to the main modifications forum and READ THE STICKIES. For serious, they will nearly always have the answer.

How To: Report A Bug

If you are going to take the time to report a bug, please take the time to do it in a manner that allows me to fix it. Please first check that all your mods are up to date, and if they are, here is the information you should provide:

  1. Disable your other mods and try to make the bug happen again
  2. Check that the bug does not also occur without the mod in questions (i.e. in the default UI - like the buddies not showing bug)
  3. What steps will reproduce the problem? Step 1 is starting HoN. Go from there. Everything you do.
  4. What happens or what doesn't happen? A screenshot helps if it is a visual bug.
  5. Version number of Bang! Mod being used. Do NOT say 'Latest Version' or 'New Version'
  6. If it only occurs with particular options, what are they?
  7. A console log/console screenshot (CTRL-F8, Printscreen) of the suspected bug if possible.
  8. A list of other mods using the same interface if applicable

Chat Modifier Fix Original Thread
Download HonMod Here

Guide on how to change modifier key here: Guide
  • The chat channel will be switched back every time a key other than the modifier is pressed. The modifier has to be the last key you pressed before pressing enter and you have to be holding the modifier while pressing enter in order for the chat channel to be switched.
  • Thus, you can quickly send chat to the other channel without risk of doing it accidentally

Full Game Notifier Original Thread
Download HonMod Here

  • Full Game Notifier gives you a notification when the game fills up and when all of the slots are taken. The sounds it uses are about as loud as the sounds used within the game lobby, but are quite distinct. They're used in other places in the UI. Works for games of all sizes, even with referees and/or spectators.
  • Various sounds available. Thanks to SoundWizard for making these excellent sounds.
    Sound Types: Blacksmith, Engineer, Noise, Music, Protoss
    Sounds available under Options -> Sounds.
Changelog:

1.50: FE2 Update.

Game Keys Replacement Original Thread
Download HonMod Here

Changes what each key does so that you can do new things with it. It lets you do things while casting an ability, especially things that belong in the game anyway. These things can be hero specific or conditional in any way that the UI gets information on.

Heroes Done:
Hellbringer
  • Malphas now added to selection on summon
Slither
  • Wards now added to selection on summon
Pollywog Priest
  • Wards now added to selection on summon
War Beast
  • Hounds now added to selection on summon
  • Attempting to summon hellhounds when hellhounds are up will select the hellhounds.
  • Hellhounds can now reselect previous control group on Q.
  • Hellhounds can now return to previous control group and resummon themselves at the same time on W.
  • Hellhounds can now select just warbeast on E.
Bangerz: The method currently used has several limitations, including not picking up spawns that do not occur instantly (e.g. Tempests Elementals) and not easily allowing different hotkeys to be used. I will fix this eventually, no need to ask for it.

Changelog:

1.50: FE2 Update.

Improved Locks Original Thread
Download HonMod
Here
Lets you lock players instead of slots.
  • Wherever a player is locked, his lock will move with him. That way, your friends (or enemies) are free to move around as they please, but will be locked when it comes time for the autobalance.
  • Saves lock status on right click. Works for both players and empty slots!
Changelog:

1.50: FE2 Update.

MultiSelect Hotkeys Original Thread
Download HonMod
Here

This mod gives you several new hotkeys.

1. Assign Control Groups
This hotkey allows for you to assign a large control group containing all of the units you are currently selecting, as well as several smaller ones up to nine units occupying your other control groups.
Example: I am playing ophelia. I have two minotaurs and use the puzzlebox. I press this key.
Ctrl group 1 - All five units.
Ctrl group 2 - Ophelia
Ctrl group 3 - Minotaur 1
Ctrl group 4 - Minotaur 2
Ctrl group 5 - Puzzlebox Minion 1
Ctrl group 6 - Puzzlebox Minion 2
It then resets to the original control group with the first unit (Ophelia) selected.

2. Ophelia Keys
These are named after Ophelia because they are undoubtedly the most useful for her, but they are very strong for all summons, including puzzlebox and dominated creeps. I assigned six of them, so you can access the first six non-hero units in your multiselect group this way. These will only work up to the tenth unit in the multiselect group, so there shouldn't be any issues with illusions.
The first key will search your multiselect group for the first non-hero unit. If it has an ability in the first slot, that ability will activate (i.e. the minotaur will stomp the group) and if that ability is targeted, it will let you selected a target. Once the ability is used, Ophelia will then be reselected.
The second key does the same with the second non-hero unit in your multiselect group, etc. etc.
Also, if you use the hotkey twice, it will activate twice, selecting only the unit you are interested in. This can be useful for units with cooldowns up or without abilities.

Example:
I have Warbeast, a minotaur and two dogs selected. I use hotkey 1 to activate the ability of the minotaur. The minotaur uses Body Slam as soon as I press that and Warbeast is reselected as soon as it the stomp's cooldown actovates.

Note: If you use this with a unit that has a targeted ability and then, instead of casting it, immediately switch to an identical unit, the mod will be unable to tell the difference and will reselect the hero if you cast the same targeted ability with the other unit.

3. Scoreboard Toggle Hotkeys

One key switches your scoreboard between closed and open. The other switches your scoreboard between max and min. Works with the original scoreboard as well as the specialized scoreboards of BardUI, Bigger Scoreboard and Hero Icons and Scoreboard Smallout.

Changelog:

1.50: FE2 Update.

Portrait Swap Original Thread
Download HonMod
Here

  • Portrait Swap is a mod that allows for you to swap with someone by clicking their portrait.
  • This mod also allows for you to swap with yourself by clicking yourself twice, which cancels all pending swap offers.
Changelog:

1.50: FE2 Update.

Right Click Deny Original Thread
Download HonMod
New Version OR Original Version
  • Deny creeps with right click.
  • Remeber to rebind your right click key after installing this mod
Changelog:

1.50: FE2 Update.

Scoreboard Toggle Hotkey Original Thread
Download HonMod
Here

This mod allows for the scoreboard to be toggled with a hotkey. It's unassigned by default, but it's put as the first one on the Controls list, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

How each key works:
Scoreboard Open/Close: If the scoreboard is closed, open it. If the scoreboard is minimized, open it. If the scoreboard is open, close it.
Scoreboard Min/Max: If the scoreboard is closed, minimize it. If the scoreboard is minimized, open it. If the scoreboard is open, minimize it.

Changelog:

1.50: FE2 Update.

Dear S2Games Devs:

The following is a list of modding requests to S2Games with the advantages of each. While I realise there are priorities other than improving modding at the moment, I hope you will consider these at some point.

API:

Request: Create a 'Select' function OR allow UITriggers to be passed parameters that return the corresponding param as the result. E.g. 'Select(3, PlayerInfo)' OR 'PlayerInfo(3)' returns param3 of PlayerInfo.
Advantage: You no longer need to create a watch, a trigger, and a temporary variable just to utilise a single parameter of a UITrigger which returns multiple parameters.

Request: Add 'Refresh Individual Server' function.
Advantage: Passing this function the IP:Port of a server will cause it to return the standard server information for that server only.

Request: Add the 'reverse' attribute to 'Listbox'.
Advantage: Listboxes will now be able to use dropdown menus without frustrating bugs. Mod Options Framework desperately needs this. The buddy list onhover will work for the chat hover info.

Request: Add a 'table' or 'array' concept and associated functions.
Advantage: Extremely large and inefficient 'if statement' databases can be replaced with a better alternative. Mods will be able to handle small database style functions much more quickly and effeciently.
Mods will be able to use large lookup functions without causing lag. (e.g. Replay Renamer, lib Database, lib Import, ingame guides, dota name translations)

Request: Create a function that returns the index and name of all minions currently under your control.
Advantage: Mods like Control Freak that improve the micromanagement interface will be able to operate without clunky loops and will be vastly improved.

Request: Create a function that writes to a modder specified text file.
Advantage: Mods can store specific information outside of the startup.cfg, useful for a mod (lib Export) that allows users to share configurations for a specific mod without ruining their UI.

Request: Do Until function
Advantage: While this can be acheived by using cfg files, the console, or looping triggers/events, a proper function for this would be more efficient.

Request: Remove limitations on SleepWidget
Advantage: While this can be worked around, the current limit on the number of sleeps that can be used simultaineously is frustrating and limiting.

Request: Add the missing 'Set' functions. E.g. SetWatch1, SetStart, SetContent etc. All attributes should have an associated Set function.
Advantage: There are many Set functions that seem to be missing for no particular reason, meaning that an instantiated template be used instead of a simple function.

Request: Fix Set functions from breaking Float, Scale, Speed, Tile, and Align attributes.
Advantage: This will allow right-handed health bars with shadows, drag and drop resortable lists, movable floating etc.

Request: Add the missing Float parameters.
Advantage: You can float right and float bottom, why cant you float left and float top?

Request: Allow Allies direct access to selection-only information parameters. E.g. Buffs, Debuffs, and Inventory.
Advantage: Unitframes and other mods would have access to the buffs, debuffs, and inventory of you allies without having to select them.

Request: Add spectator-only information functions. Allow specators to have direct access (without selection) to all the information that a player would have while selecting another player.
Advantage: This would lead to some pretty awesome replay/spectating UI mods.

Request:
Add self minion information functions. E.g. Minion{index}Cooldown0 Allow players direct access (without selection) to all the information that a player would have while selecting their minion.
Advantage: This would alllow you to keep track of cooldowns, health, mana etc of multiple units you control.
Request: Add GetPing(), GetFPS().
Advantage: This would allow not only the creation of movable frames for this information, but also mods that dynamically change settings in response to client performance.

General UI Modding:

Request: Mod communication channel. (After Mod Certification)
Advantage: Allow mods to share information without disrupting gameplay. E.g. Clan, Community and Buddy mods, tournament organisation and arranged custom game mods, in-game games, global rating systems, ally interface improvements.

Request: Increase the UI Script Stack Limit OR prevent reaching this limit from crashing the game.
Advantage: This is a frustrating bug which requires tedious and inefficient workarounds.

Request: A stack trace debugging tool or mode.
Advantage: The current console errors are uninformative and do not show how many errors come about. A proper stack trace would resolve this.

Other Bugs:

Bug: Triggers (and some hotkeys) fire twice as of 1.0.5. This can be easily replicated with a simple trigger linked to a chat command fired using the console.
Bug: Simple variable++ saves will fail unless throttled. i.e. Set(Var, 0); Echo(Var); Set(Var, Var + 1); Echo(Var) will display 0 and 0 if they occur in the same frame as another calculation.
Bug: SetStart and SetEnd don't work.

Game Interface Mechanics:

Request: Uncontrollable units should not be selected by NextUnit.
Advantage: Widgets like Gladiator's Pitfall cannot be controlled in any fashion and should not be selected to be controlled. Additionally, Ophelia spawns many random invisible and uncontrollable widgets over a long game which becomes increasingly annoying.

Request: Summoned units should remember assigned control groups between game restarts and per hero.
Advantage: This will dramatically improve minion management.

Request: The minimap should show friendly illusions as white/pale player colour.
Advantage: Now you can tell whether you should TP to prevent a gank or if your ally is safely in the base by just looking at the map.

Downloaded and tested, it works, it just includes your own name in the request locks... such as

"Please lock me and: me, friend, Friend, Friend"

Redundant, otherwise works fine.

Try it now, it now uses honmodman to write to the file which should allow it to work with many nameplate mods.

For some reason IsBuddy returns true for yourself.

In any case it makes the group that needs locking more obvious. Imagine multiple people with the mod and it makes more sense.

i made it compatible with BarterUI using ur method. But there is a bug which is the overlapping chat. I think it would be nice if u just implement other features in BarterUI that arent in ur UI. (Death Timer, TeamUI etc.)

by the way, Bangerz, any plan to separate your CC timers to an individual mod?
not sure if I'm the only one, but I need only this mod.

Overlapping Chat Box, it was like 2 chat boxes. But i used the move chat box funtion from barterui and try to make the 2 chat boxes combine. Sometimes things still overlaps when there are too many msgs

Also, using the BangUI, there is quite a framerate drop. The game actually seems quite laggy. But there is no problem when i use other 22 mods. Seems to be only this UI
