Information
This is the 8th of 16 qualifiers to Neva LIVE I, a live three day event set to take place in San Francisco during the summer, with a prize pool of $10,000 (NOT including additional sponsored prizes).

About Neva
Neva is an ISP that provides worldwide media distribution services (with clients including S2 Games), along with a number of other related network services. Recently, we launched the NevaTV platform - an advanced eSports media system with some of the most advanced streaming media technology in the world behind it.

How To Register
Want to register your teams interest? Email joe@nevatv.com with your team name, clan name (if applicable), clan tag (if applicable) and your teams roster. Registration will be closed on Friday the 4th at 2:00PM PST. Sign up before then or your team will not be entered. There will be no exceptions to this.

Date
5th June 2010 @ 11AM PST / 2PM EST.

Tournament Format
16 team invitational (brackets).
5v5.
Banning pick.
Dev heroes off.
Single elimination.
Finals BO3.

Map
Forests of Caldavar.

Media
Coming at a later date.

Prizes
$250 cash prize to the winning team.

Game Rules
No Ancient pulling to lane on either side. Pulling regular creep spawns is allowed.
No use of glitches (i.e. dupe methods that haven't been patched.) Questions on these should be brought up before attempting them in game. Kongor glitches are a good example.
Sharing of healing items is allowed. Bottle may only be transferred between teammates for short periods of time.
Blocking team creep spawns with abilities such as Behemoth's fissure is forbidden. This does not include the opponents creeps when attempting to take a tower.
Entering the oppositions base without a creep wave is NOT allowed. The creep wave does not have to be in the same lane as you.
Item limitations have been removed.

Tournament Rules
Be respectful to the tournament staff and players.
Changes to the roster will need to be confirmed by Penance before they are allowed.
No show teams will be blacklisted from joining next weeks event. Second time offenders will be banned for the next 3 events.
Games will require Penance's approval before creating and starting the game countdown. Teams that start games without approval may be disqualified.
If a team feels a remake is necessary the game is to be paused and I am to be contacted by both teams captain. If it is past the remake threshold then the game will continue and I will review the replay. Otherwise I will use my best judgment to make a fair decision.
Players are only allowed to play for one team in each tournament. Ringers may be brought in if they are cleared by Penance before playing.
