'Attack/Push Here' and 'Defend Here' Minimap Pings

Hey, just a quick idea. I'm sure we've all had those times where someone is repeatedly spam pinging some location or something, but fail to explain themselves in their flurry of alt+left clicking. Usually people will say over voice chat, but there are plenty of times where the message is lost and you lie sleepless in bed that night wondering just what it was that your friendly neighborhood pinoy was pinging before his untimely demise.

    So, I propose this:

[alt+click] - Normal, general-purpose ping. What we have now.

[shift+alt+click] - "Attack"/"Push Here" ping. The sound would be harsher than the normal ping sound, to attract more immediate attention.

[ctrl+alt+click] - "Defend Here" ping. This would be closer to a bell sound, like a call to arms. Could perhaps double as a "Teleport Here" notice, since often people require others to teleport to other towers to turn around a gank and save somebody.

A simple suggestion that could help aid in communications in a game that relies heavily and extensively on it. Let me know what you think.

Good concept, though I'd rather have it to alt+mouse button 4 and 5, maybe just make it re-bindable?

    I dont think its neccesary.
If you ping at your tower, do ppl get confused at to what you mean?
You see where I'm going this with

Might be more useful to distinguish between defend here and, RUN AWAY YOUR BEING GANKED. Ive pinged before and the player expected me to help (which would have been suicide)

Sorry. Just because people are too incompetent to learn how to speak english / to learn how to ping AND say something, doesn't mean S2 has to shove a Babydildo up the noob's asses.

it might be useful, but id rather everyone communicated more by using their big boy words, like "4" when they ping the woods, etc. i dont see people troubling themselves to press an extra button, probably wont stop ping spam too
my name is grigden, and my account was hacked. they changed my name, and iron_pupet was their accomplice. that is my story

I say the only 2 ping u need are:

Come here! (for attacking or defending)

    or

Danger here! (to warn about possible ganks)

there's been a few times when someone pings to warn me of incoming danger, but i mistake it for a request for me to come help fight.

I'll vote "yes" if you change your suggestion to that.

    Nice idea.
I just think you could change the ping images for something like a sword for the attack, and a shield for the defence.

And if someone during the game asks what it means, he should be instantly kicked.

I think people can tell what a teammate means with just a regular ping, with or without an explanation.

I agree with this, not to mention that i think this makes pinging more complicated than it needs to be.
