laning question

so i was playing a plague/dl against a witch with ophelia in the woods. How in anyway can i keep harrassing witch with dl as my lanign partner. All he does is stay back but if i go to harass him im stunned then take two shot from him before i even get my ability off. Do i just have to sit back and try to out last hit him even though dl now gets ****ed over.

woops my bad it sounded so much better when i wrote that in my head. i was playing plague and having trouble harrassing.

melee are never able to successfully harass ranged in lane with auto attack if you get one hit of on them odds are they got 3 and there are creeps swarming you. Let the ranged hero do the harass and work on farming out last hitting ranged heroes is really easy with a hatchet.

Edit: o you were plague just nuke harass him and keep him far enough away that dark lady can grab last hits with out taking auto attack damage from him you don't have to putting your self in danger you just need to be enough of a threat to keep dark lady safe.

thats what i normally do and can do well against most witches i played but this guy got to me. i couldnt in anyway land a nuke without getting stunned and him getting three hits in. I mean he wasnt doing well at all with last hitting but he was still there to harass dl whenever he got close.
