I have been wondering about this lifesteal, I have played quite a bit so i have a very good idea about how it works but not for sure.
my questions i guess would be.
(whispering helm, abyssal skull, elder)
how exactly is life steal calculated?
does how much life you steal account for how much health they also have?
also
when you have a predator with whisp helm and an abyssal skull and his lvl 4 carnivorous.
how much life would you be stealing?
(assuming you land 100 damage and the enemy has 1000 health.)
"You promised me, Scout, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life, there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?"
Scout replied, "The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."
First, lifesteal is based off of actual damage dealt, by said attack. So after its reduced by all applying reductions, then a percent of that is given to your health. Carnivourus is based on the enemy's hp. So 100 + .07 * 1000 = 100 regular damage that you can lifesteal off of, and 70 damage that heals you back 70 hp. All this damage is reduced by physical armor, so the less armor, the more damage you do, the more you lifesteal.
Carnivorous deals its damage as a separate instance, so it never factors in to any other type of lifesteal.
