Currently, these are the S2 units with and without representation in HoN:
Malphas (in form of hellbringer's ult)
Maliken (idk how it would be executed exactly but would be a REALLY cool hero imo)
My rough ideas for new heroes based on unused S2 units:
Shapeshifter (Agility, melee)
Shapeshift (basic invis)
Fury Swipes (Ursa's orb from DotA, sorely missing in this game imo)
Lightning Strike (Invoker's Sun Strike, for finishing off all of the enemies who will doubtlessly get away unless he has a disabler helping him)
Greater Good (techie's self destruct but better)
Builder (Intelligence, ranged, uses his gun by default)
Land mines (Techie's basic mines)
Force Field (destructable wardlike thing that grants armor and magic resistance for those under it)
Sentry Gun (similar to toxic wards, auto attacks enemies that get near)
Hammertime (pulls out his hammer and turns into a melee hero with high % bash for a few seconds)
Revenant (Intelligence, ranged)
Defile (identical to tinker laser)
Flameseekers (identical to missiles)
Wave of flame (identical to march of machines)
Dark Arts (identical to rearm)
Basically I want tinker in this game and I think Revenent would be a pretty cool hero model.
Feel free to share any ideas related to S2 unit heroes.
I really like Savage 2 heroes
I think it will push Savage 2's player counts into the sky after release of HoN.
Perhaps there will even be a Savage 3 with dota like gameplay with full controll.
Imagine a merge of WoW-Battlegorunds, Dota's map items etc. and with Savage 2-3 engine!

I allready posted a hero idea for a Savage.
I think I got a nice balance between melee and ranged combat:
Anyways, I got a good idea for Savage, just make him Dragon Knight. His Fire Breath could just be a minigun spray and his ult would just boost his MS and give him benefits (instead of corrosion give him demolish, instead of splash give him cleave and instead of chill give him a bleed thing( while keeping him melee. Dragon Knight was a little ridiculous with his ult anyways, having it keep him melee would keep things balanced.
Summoner or Chaplain could be Chen too, I think he's one of those heroes that's too good to be completely left out.
What's the problem with giving the shapeshifter the ability to morph into an npc or an enemy unit? Still not able to go near towers but to be honest we don't need another stealth unit and I think it would add a fun and unique role into the game.
Personally I think the summoner should have replaced wildsoul, but I guess there's still room for another summoning type hero.
The Shapeshifter can easily be the Morphling from DotA.
The Builder can easily be the Goblin Techies.
With some work, the Conjurer can become the Naga Siren.
The Chaplain can easily be Chen.
The revenent can be... the Lightning Revenent, Razor. Just change the elements(Like they did with Abbadon and Accursed).
With work, the summoner can be Rexxar.
The Savage would be able to be the Troll Warlord, easy. Switching from Range to Melee is the Gun and Swords.
Because Swiftblade is already here for Juggy, Maliken will have to get his own moveset since he prides himself on ridin' spinnaz. Or he can be another Roshan on a different map.
Lets get the DotA units in the game first before we add even more custom, new units. They want it to be as similar as possible to DotA on launch WITH new stuff, so lets finish up the hero lineup, eh?
Builder Ult could be turning into a Battering Ram or Steam Buchet
The primary purpose of a builder is to build things, which he can't really do in this unless its just some basic temporary structures. I think something neat for the builder would be to provide an aura that strengthens and armors up structures and siege units near him. Nothing that provides regen as that would be imbalancing with the towers.
theres already a cannonlike spell ingame(im a n00b so dont ask me for the name,its the green thing:P); so why not building a little cannon on the ground as builder spell
He could also have a skill similar to faceless voids (=chronos) sphere. Only that his shield generator could be destroyed and affects only the tower or all ranged combat.
If I think about that idea it really comes in great:
- not overpowered since you can destroy it
- great pushing power if you want to
- awsome ganker but not unfair again because you could kill the shield generator before he kills you (but only if you got the guts for that move
yay gimme a handsome builder dwarf!
Builder also had the turret and shield. So that's 4 skills already we have come up with, turret, shield, aura and atillery cannon - sounds like he could be a great little supporting hero.
I could see the builder being a very fun class to play.
With the nomad, i read a thread by donut on that very idea.
Dark Strider made some good Suggestions about Summoner: he should have: Summon Imp (Autofrog) Ranged Unit, Summon Baerloth - Melee Unit, Locust Swarm: Maybe a dot or a AoE dot (but not too big area ) im not Sure about the Ult i had something in my mind but i already forgot it. Maybe his Siege attack from Savage 1 but that would be Pretty boring.
He could also Charm NPCs but Ophelia already has this, and Sentry Chiprel / Hawk would be fun too.
Maybe Splash damage would be nice (like in Savage 2, yeah everyone hated him because of that)
I will post more detailed Suggestions when i come up with some more things.
About the look: Like in Savage 2 maybe in fulla rmor or without the Helm, maybe he should look more like a Snake but keep his overal style like in Savage 2.
Nomad is already in , open the resources too see , it just needs the model+skills.

nah im currently thinking about the ult of the summy i have no idea maybe something wich is affected by the day / night cycle (since we only have one heroe who uses this -> nomad)
