I start with a hatchet and a buckler on the bear, 1 health potion for wild soul. Just let the bear die and heal your self with the potion. Keep killing neutral creeps until you get mock.
All you're doing with Wildsoul for the first half of the game is farming neutrals and helping gank your lane with Entangling Roots.
Wildsoul
- Your choice of Health Potion, or if you have someone to ward for you, just go with two Minor Totems, stats are better then healing if you're not been attacked.
Beardulon
- Hatchet
- Buckler
Go farming for a while, and when you have the money, either send Beardulon back to base to heal up and ferry two sets of Marchers and Gloves back, while you're pulling creeps. Or just continue farming and use a courier.
At this point you'll be looking at this.
Wildsoul
- Marchers
- 2x Minor Totem if you opted for them)
Beardulon
- Hatchet
- Buckler
- Marchers
- Gloves of the Swift
Continue farming and ganking when you can. HELPING OUT AT THE BEGINNING MAKES YOUR CHARACTER A LOT MORE USEFUL!
This is where your item build can vary. If you've had an easy farm, go for a Sword of the High > Mock of Brilliance on Beardulon, shift the Gloves of the Swift onto Wildsoul and finish off Steamboots.
At this point start ganking like you mean it, and pushing towers if needs be (Beardulon with Mock of Brilliance facerapes towers). Then start building Icebrand > Frostwolfs Skull.
Now, if you farm has been terrible, go for a Thunderclaw. Not as effective as Mock of Brilliance, but it increases your farm. Next item on the list is personal preference. As Thunderclaw includes an attack modifier, Frostwolfs Skull isn't a viable option, so you can just start building towards a Geomancers Orb, or Daemonic Platemail if you want to help out your team (The aura also affects buildings, so razing barracks becomes simple as pie). You could also just continue with the Thunderclaw > Charged Hammer, but Daemonic Platemail will give you the increased attack speed, as well as the helpful aura.
