Diamond Dove
Description:
The most elegant bird of the Newerth great forest is a magical bird, created of crystal that sparkles as if made of diamonds themselves. Often sought after for their beauty, these doves are not easy to catch as they are mildly telepathic, giving them the edge over most hunters, animal and humanoid alike.
Once caught and treated well they make life-long companions, the telepathic link creating a bond with their owner granting them similar magical resistance and, on occasion, a glimpse of a view from the diamond dove itself.

On use: summons the diamond dove above the caster’s head for 15 seconds. This unit is untargetable and moves with the caster. Grants X2 vision over all terrain. Does not confer truesight.
Cooldown: 90 seconds
Notes:
I’m trying to make a break from all the ‘offensive’ weapons; this is an intermediate item for all of those “everyone’s off map and I suddenly feel very alone here,” moments. Can be used offensively as an anti creep neturaling tool, or for abilities that require LoS such as scout’s snipe.
It’s not intended to be an endgame item (like hand of midas/alchemist’s stone) but an early mid game item to help survivability.
I’m in two minds about how ‘visible’ the bird is to enemies. I think ‘visible’ would probably be best.
Absolute values may need tweaking.

Anyways, really nice item idea. I'm sure it'd have some nice functionality with heroes like scout, pharaoh, pudge, etc. It's nice to see a break from all the offensive items too.

So you'd have to buy a flying carrier, but not use it? Or would you be able to turn a carrier you have out into the item?

It seems quite balanced and I like the strategical use which is a contrast to all offensive items!
Zephyr should be deleted.
The ingame zoom should never be changed.
And last hit assist should be banned.
Why? No one should get what I don't like.
It grants aerial vision, or? Anyway nice one
