    Brazilian Games problem

It's not exactly a problem but sometimes it annoys me and lots of brazillians who play HoN. When someone create a "BRASIL" game, it allways enter someone from other country, and most time he/she don't speak portuguese nor english, destroying all team-play that could exist. It would be nice if ingame there existed something like a "/fromall" banlist command so we could see where's everyone from.

nice suggestion. it works the other way around too, like NA players kicking non-english speakers.

A good 20% of the games are "Brazilian-only", so err, it's understandable to be annoyed when a country with a reputation for piracy is taking over.

Well, it's unavoidable. Us brazilians were going to get in, eventually.
I agree, a /fromall command would be a simple way to regulate these games, althought it could sometimes be used improperly.

I'd say the best way to go about making sure your whole team speaks the same language is to get 4 friends.

On the other hand, you could simply ask (in Portuguese, etc.) if they speak your language, and if they don't answer: kick them.

This is not ethnocentric, in my opinion... (except the "those idiots" comment above) It's certainly nice to be able to speak to your teammates in your native language.

Maybe adding a language flag on matches would help.

I know I've inadvertantly ended up in a Brasil match and not been able to understand what was going on, though they just spoke to me in English if they needed me, since I mentioned I don't understand what they are saying politely.

well im from chile, and i must say i dont like too much the idea of other people looking at my country.
because on w3, when people pinged me and looked i was from "cl" they kicked me even if i had t/o ping.
so i think the better solution is that when you create a game you can choose if you want only a country to join, so the system kick any foreign user that wants to enter the game.

/fromall command is useless, if someone use an proxy it can don't show the proper country or just say "N/a" like it did to me all times someone use /fromall's banlist in DotA

95% of the time your latency gain from going through a proxy will make the game far more difficult to play. If you really want to go through a proxy, though, why worry about it? I don't think we have malicious people thinking "ohh, let me sneak into this game where I can't talk to my teammates".

    ok, time for trolling
    WTF IS WRONG WITH U?
THE GUY ASKED /FROMALL TO KICK NON-BR FROM BR-ONLY GAMES, NOT TO KICK EVERY1 ON EVERY GAME, JUST AS EU ONLY CAN KICK NON-EU PPL

damn, u guys are pissing me off
and about the proxy: /fromall is just for avoiding **** ingame, it isn't perfect, but if a guy takes care to get a proxy and do that, that guy must REALLY want to play that game, with good or bad reasons

/fromall isn't that hard to implement and would be a nice feature to be on release
I support this and I think you guys should take a nice cup of tea and STOP TROLLING ALL IDEAS
the guy asked kindly, stop releasing your anger on online forums, Trolls are not welcome on this forum, and I think every1 agree

Yeah nice one, make it possible to kick all non brazils out of Brazil Games. And If ur doing this, please Ban all Brazils for joining non-Brazil Games. Thank you! Its racism...

Hey, i didn't want to have a war here. The same way non-BRs would not be able to join a "BR only" game, we brazilians would not be able to enter a US only or EU only games. The question is, sometimes brazilians don't speak english so we can't comunicate with other languages. And sometimes we create a BRAZIL GAME and enter a french who doesn't even speak english end start spamming in french... In Azeroth at least people respect the reserved brazilian games, and they don't enter a US game if they don't speak english.

I loved the idea someone gave back there to put flags with the "languages I speak" ingame so hosts could control who he wants to enter the game so everyone can understand each other. (y)

please, do not be stupid like the other brazilian who called ppl idiots, lets just discuss the idea

uhh didnt read the thread thoug, but whats the problem with people from other countries joining?

the other point btw is totaly contrary imo. Brasilians dont try to talk english... most games i played with brasilians (if at least 2 ppl on the team cauld speak portuguese) the brasilians didnt even bother to speak english. they even used voicechat to speak portuguese and even after ppl demandet them to talk english they continued, forcing me to mute them (which doesnt work all time o_O)

I dont have anything against brasilians generally but this problem is present 9 out of 10 times if 2 brasilians (or more) are in a team....

btw, if u dont want ppl who dont speak portuguese to play with u, just ask them in the lobby something on portueguese and everything should becom clear...

I've only played with BR people once, thats when I accidently entered a game called "Brazil". I told em in chat I don't speak their language so they tried their best to communicate in english, very nice of them
