I was just making a list of websites that new players might want to check out for my clans web page.

Though I would post it here as well if anyone is interested.


http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/index.php - Obviously, the HoN forums. Always a good place to start, as long as you can weed out the good stuff from the bad. Report bugs, discuss upcoming changes, ask questions about HoN. All the basic stuff.

http://stats.maide.ca/players - Just a big data base full of everyone's stats. You can see things like you most played hero, view things like EM%, PSR and KDR as graphs, to see how you have been going over time. Also see you associates, which is people you have played with for 3 or more games, be it with or against.

http://www.hondb.com/ - This one is just a big data base of HoN information. Such as Creep stats ranging from how much health the Neutral creeps have, to how much gold each specific unit gives. You can view each map and check out the Juke spots and ward spots. It also has information on each hero, including a few guides you may want to read up on.

http://www.honstat.com/ Another good site for stat searching, viewing personal match stats. Downloading replays etc.

http://honwiki.net/wiki/Heroes_of_Newerth_Wiki - Wikipedia, HoN style.

http://www.fileplay.net/channels/hon...annels/honcast - A lot of competitive matches and things streamed from this site. If you want to watch high level people playing, this is the site. Also S2 occasionally shows off new things here (HONCAST)

http://www.f0cusfire.com/ -Heroes of Newerth news, hero guides, strategy and more.

http://www.gamereplays.org/heroesofnewerth/ - Another site full of HoN (and other games) related info. More Hero Guides, the latest news on S2 and where they are up to with HoN. Replays, Tournaments and more.

http://www.theminortotem.com/news - Another Data Base of all things HoN. This one includes Hero Guides, User Mods/Addons and advice for those starting out in HoN or if you're coming over from DotA.

http://www.neutralcreeps.com/ - Dota genre news resource since 2008 with extensive coverage of Heroes of Newerth.

http://www.honcamp.com/news.php - New website with hero strategies, Concept Art, video's, downloads and more.

http://www.honarmory.com/ - UI Mods/Player Lookup/Signature Generator/Guides/Forums

http://honleague.com/ - A Heroes of Newerth competitive community and league.

The HoN IRC is also a good place to hang out and talk to people about HoN. Some of the HoN developers and highly skilled HoN players also hang out here. You can also participate in the test client. The test client is a seperate version of HoN that S2 often releases patches on Before they go live on the main client. You will get access to the Private Forums and can read about the changes before the information is released to the public and help test them in game.

In order to gain access to the test client, you will need to download an IRC Client before you can join the HoN IRC room. A popular IRC Client is mIRC but there are lots you can choose from. Just search online and you should find something soon enough.

Note: mIRC gives you a 30 Trial period then asks you to register, you can just click continue after the 30 days and you won't have to pay.
