Hello,
I'm rather knew to the game, but i played DotA for 2 years, was rather good, played LoL for awhile, and then my friend wanted me to join in HoN.
Ive come to quickly realize aslong as i can actually target them, i do fine, but theres some heroes I just CANNOT seem to click on effectivly
ex. i use Deadwood ALOT, i really enjoy him, but when i go to throw a tree, or ult someone, it seems I have alot of trouble actually being able to select them
is there a small clickbox for heros? is there a way to increase it?
thanks,

Does your mouse suck, or your hand-eye?
Unfortunately that would provide some unintended benefit to you and is not an available option.

naw, i click on heroes perfectly fine in DotA and LoL, except for treant, as you always had to click closer to his feet instead of his head..it just seems for HoN its more of a linear target than an actual box target...
ive missed out on SO many kills cause i misclick so much
I guess just play some more games. You're only 30-40 in, right?
1v1 your buddy no stats and have him play shifty heroes like magebane or madman. Should help your targeting.

There is an option in the menu that slightly highlight your target when you hover over them. This makes it easier to know when you are targetting the hero and when you are targetting the ground/another unit.
I had a lot of trouble with misclicks too until I got this... although sometimes my mouse spazzes and I pyro nuke a creep.

Sometimes you need to assert your authority over the creeps, and popping an ulti on one is necessary.
Thanks guys, I'm glad I'm not the only one then haha
seems like im improving, won the last 8 games straightDeadwood is beast!
Thanks DenytheTruth, ill def look into it

Also, if you play video games a lot it's worth it to invest in a high quality gaming mouse.
It really makes a big difference if you're using a crappy stock mouse. Just make sure it's not one of those scary wireless ones.
