Previous versions:
Features:
1. Remove the black border around the HP/MP bars. This increases the HP/MP bar size while using the same amount of pixels as before.
2. The transparency of MP bars is 50% at all times.
3. The transparency of HP bars is effected by the following factors:
- If the creeps HP are at 100% the opacity is 20% (green, total)
- If the creeps HP begin to drop the foregrounds opacity is increased until the creeps HP drop down to 20%. At this point the foreground is fully opaque. This way the most interesting creeps are the much more easy to locate.
- The HP bar background (black) is fully transparent when the creep has full HP. The opacity is increased to 80% when the creeps is near death. This also helps to get your attention and makes it easier to see the LHA indicator while not obscuring the view when creeps have full HP.
- As a Result of the above changes overlapping HP bars no longer make it impossible to deny as you can see in the next screenshot.
4. (Optional): A white bar indicates when its safe to last hit
- The indicator is limited to 50% on friendly creeps.
- The indicator changes it color to black when it is not possible to deny a creep. As you can see in the screenshot it can sometime be hard to tell whether a creep can be denied (bottom right corner). Not anymore!
5. 2.5.19.253+: When you activate Logger's Hatchet the Last Hit Indicator will be adjusted according to the damage you will do by throwing the axe instead of a normal hit. The damage of throwing the axe does not include the bonus damage it gives you for a normal hit.
This give you a better idea of when to use Logger's Hatchet
6. 2.6.5.278+: When you play as Rampage () and the ability "Horned Strike" is leveled and ready for use, the bonus damage is taken into account.
7. You can choose whether you want creep names to pop up on mouse over or not in the options menu.
This way you no longer get your view blocked by the "Imp"/... popups.
Q&A:
Q: Do you support team-colored health bars (e.g. green/red)?
A: Yes, team-colored health bars are supported natively by the game (check out Options -> Mods -> Health Bar Options) and by this modification.
Q: Can I enable/disable health bar transparency based on creeps health?
A: Yes, check out Options -> Mods -> Alt Info Revised.
Q: Can I enable/disable the last hit indicator?
A: Yes, check out Options -> Mods -> Alt Info Revised.
Q: Can you add support for catapults?
A: No, at the current state of the game it is impossible! If you find a way to get it to work, feel free to post the solution here.
Q: I can't apply the mod (Garena client)!
A: Sorry, but you will have to wait for the Garena client to catch up to the normal client.
Q: Where can I download version x.x.x.xxx?
A: You can't. I do not want to maintain a repository of old versions. Backup your mods before updating them.
Known issues:
- Armor changes are not included in the calculation (e.g. having a
/
or
-Aura will cause the indicator to be slightly inaccurate).
Can we see a screenshot that ISN'T zoomed in please? Sexyness of graphics is a must.
Hey pretty cool!
May I suggest the ability to adjust the size of the bars.

kinda ugly compared to @mu's version, but LEAPS AND BOUNDS AHEAD in the right direction imo. gj!
ok, the bug is fixed now
Yeah everyone likes it a bit different ... I did just play some real game (not just sandboxing for debugging purposes) and I like the way it looks and works.
The white/black bar really helps to see what can be denied and what not and I like the transparency values.
But you might use whatever you want![]()
Part 4.2?
Changes to black? Does it ever go from white to black if it does not have any regen?
Btw: This mod calculates in buffs from items and spells right? Like Demonic Breastplate and Loggers Hatched?
So from what I understand, you will get the last hit/deny if the creep health is below the white line?
1. yes it swaps back and forth
2. DD Rune and Loggers are taken into account
3. Yes you can last hit creeps above the white bar (e.g.from behind or with :Shieldbreaker
The next thing I am thinking about is to introduce LHA for catapults and/or towers ... but I don't know the armor type/calculation not yet ...
Does anyone know if its 1:1 with WC3 ?
Mertsch is there any plan to have a revamp on the looks of the healthbar? I like your old healthbar better![]()
I have just tried to add back the 3D effect and after some struggling I was able to do so.
But I will discard it.
The reason I removed the effect was to apply transparency much more easily. But now it turns out that it was a good thing to disable it since it look just awful with transparency. Its not even worth to make it optional.
As an idea, is it possible to make the "tick" on enemy creep health bars be black, and turn white when they're below the threshold? For some reason, I keep leaving them at 1 hp or so (I assume because the tick is hiding a small amount of health :P)
