Chronos name change

Greetings,

I have created a mod that changes Chronos' name to Time Man. It was a dying man's wish.


Reason 1: He manipulates time.
Reason 2: He is a man.


You, the players of HoN, have 48 hours to install this mod.

(ps : It also adds Megaman 2 boss intro music to his pick noise)



This is a simple joke mod, I saw someone mention this thread earlier and it made me want to go and make a mod that did it. Also, since Time Man sounds like a megaman boss (and probably is one) I felt the music fitting.

To Install:
Simply download this file (No sound version here) into the Heroes of Newerth game folder. The default locations for this folder are:

Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/
Windows 7: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows Vista: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Mac:
1. Press Finder
2. Press Applications
3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
4. Open Game folder
5. Move file here

You will now have the Time Man mod. To disable it, simply delete resourcesTimeMan.s2z or remove it from the game folder.

well as far as I know you could open them in notepad, but most the modders I have talked to and what I use is a freeware software call notepad++

Indeed you can just use notepad. I prefer Notepad++ though, it's like regular notepad on steroids.

I tried last night with notepad++ because I have been using it for other things for HoN modifications, but when I tried to open it within 7zip it just came up blank in notepad++.
But when I extracted it to a folder and opened with notepad++ it worked this time, strange. Thanks for the help
