    PotM/Puck Request + Magic Stick/Magic Wand

Hopefully you guys are working on models for heroes like these two and are planning on implimenting them in the future.

A PotM I'd really like to play a PotM like hero in this game. Same with Puck.

I'd also like to see Magic Stick / Magic Wand (Upgrade) implimented.

people are going to rage so hard the second these heros are put in the game. some of the best gankers in dota(next to venge.)

Venge is a good ganker but a terrible teamfight/overall hero.

Potm and puck are two amazing pub/comp play heroes that should and need to be implemented into the game. They're very skill oriented, and their skills are likely going to be buggy, so best introduce them now rather than later.

IMO S2 should focus more on creating new stuff rather than copy more DotA content. This game already has a bad reputation for being a direct copy of DotA and if that doesn't change then it won't be able to compete with LoL and Demigod.

That's what this game is about though. A standalone DOTA! Why change what already works and is popular...

As fun as puck and potm are in allstars. I would rather see what the S2 staff can come up with. They seem pretty creative. This isn't allstars by any means. This is Heroes of Newerth.

Its a Standalone DotA based game. Slightly different, I agree with Lopi but maybe adding some more DotA heroes couldn't hurt.

Yeah I hope they create "things" which give HoN a different "feeling". The look is different. But it still feels like WC3. Yeah you could say thats good. But on the other side. Why should people switch? And dont say "it is more competitive/ Clan orientated". Games arent run by "pro" gamers. The casual players increase a community, popularity and the "long term" thing. I culd tell you 6 or more games which were targeted just to "pros" and they all fail or will fail...

To make it clearer, here an example: Did you think in the next years, there will a game like CS, which will have more or the same players, playing regularly? I dont think so... You have to make it better, look & feel better, add content. AND especially RE-BALANCE things which new and/or old players annoyed.... If you dont listen to new players. You wont attract other new players.... Cause they will tell the problem to others. And thats the end of the story..... So take this chance as a beta and a "new" game to test and change "major" things. You could switch back if something dont work. But dont tell in front of a "new" idea. Nooo dont change it. Even if you dont tested the effects of it in a real game.

So morale of the story: Dont try to be dota, try to be newerth and a "new" Dota

The whole reason I'd buy this game is because it's a dota clone. If you haven't noticed, all of the s2 new heroes are either amazingly imbalanced or underpowered.

I'd prefer atleast a few more of the best comp heroes to be added into the game.

Why should people switch? The stats alone give you some sort of meaning for playing the games, the casual player is going to enjoy the anti-leaver thing as well.

Wtf is wrong with you. I bet you dont even have a close what the POTM in dota is.

Hint: Most likely the most popular and fun hero to play; while being not that easy to play (2 aimed skills)

Quoted for agreement. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Dota community is huge. And 6.60 ruined it for a lot of players. Adhering to the requests of dota players could only help this game, and new players will play it regardless, because they've never even seen these heroes, so it's new to them. (And who is going to buy Wc3 to play dota for ****s sake?) I like this game because it feels like a modified 6.59C with an edge.

Adding heroes from dota that were the some of THE *most* competitive played heroes will only make the staff's job easier. It will also give them an opportunity to focus on and even out arguably inadequete heroes that need fixing. All the best players in this game agree Madman is bad and needs work. In my personal opinion, Arachna does as well (useless ult, dusts do a better job) as well as predator: 350 dmg melee nuke that damages yourself when you're mean tto be a carry, not a tank, is silly.

But that's just a few peoples opinions.

I think a lot of the heroes that were staples of DotA are missing. Heroes like Gondar and Bloodseeker currently being implemented over Puck, PotM, and Sand King just seems wrong to me >_<.

why should someone re-invent the wheel. DotA is great which is proven by its huge community. Therefore why should it be wrong to take some ideas from dota and implement them in a new, fresh way? It's not as if more dota heroes will actually ruin HoN, the hero pool can never be large enough :P im thankful for every new hero, be it a dota-one or a complete new one.

This game already has a bad reputation for being a direct copy of DotA
Yea sure, counter strike also has a bad reputation because it took the idea of an ego shooter from doom. Ive never heard of your so-called 'bad reputation'. People who rate a game based on a screenshot are strange.

About the DotA clone. I would like to quote the main beta page.

As such you will get both the old and the new. Hopefully the best of both worlds. So please, both sides need to stop stomping out ideas from either camp as soon as they're brought up.

All new heroes are like that. Either way, I'd rather see some new stuff from s2. The beta is the best time to balance. Heroes that are already balanced should be implemented alongside the new ideas, not either the new or the old.
