Can someone make a mod that when you attack or cast a spell on an enemy, numbers will show that represents how much total damage you have dealt on that attack. you know, just like MMORPGs for example.
and ahh...why the hell would you wan that??
A: because it helps you calculate how much of the damage an enemy can take with your attacks, thus helping you time how many times you do it to kill the enemy.
no good idea
we shouldnt take all the "skill" outa the game
just look ur dmg/spell-dmg and the enemy armor to do it yourself....
useless, having number showing up in the middle of a battle only to say "OMFG LOOK AT MY DAMAGES IM SO PRO" is kinda stupid.
^ and... his right, it's comfortable too. (should've added that to my post. but oh well.)
I'm pretty sure it's impossible unless you've selected the guy your attacking as your target due to how HoN blocks that info to prevent the heroes exact overhead HP bar mod.
I'm sure it's possible. We already know how much crit damage we do. Doesn't make sense we know our crit, but don't know our spell or normal damage.
actually, I think the idea of the damage shower only showing up to the enemy you are targetting is a great idea. in that way, the battle won't be too confusing with numbers.
There's a greyed out checkbox in the options saying "show magic damage". I wonder what this might lead to.
so like thunderbringer's thunder rod numbers?
Also before magic damage reduction. But fact that server sends us certain numbers doesn't mean he sends us all numbers. If we wish to know the numbers of more things then the server will actually have to send it to us, which afaik it doesn't any more unless you target it. Which would just make it inconvenient as hell (to the guy who said that'd be a great idea to make it only show up on the guy you're targetting)
You can't factor in your enemies' armor, as you don't know the value. (Unless you click on your enemy)
And damage without reduction is useless, you simply look at that value when you purchase a new damage item.
By the way, the absolute value isn't interesting anyway, the % of your enemies health he loses seems more important. And that is why we have health bars.
