IMO his wards need vectorisation!
If you single click it does standard wards, if you click and drag, it plants wards in the line/shape that you drew
Usage example: you are being chased by pest on crack so you plant the wards in a line blocking passage to your location

It is implemented, but hardly thanks to me :P They released the "press pictures" a mere week after I posted this thread. There is no way they could have modelled it that fast, we must simply have both though of it simultaneously.
Ill PM Nome to have this locked now that it is not relevant anymore.
