Can we expect blizzard to make a warcraft 4 in a big while after SC2 releases.
It's been out for like 6 years. And it has millions of players.
no. still got diablo 3, new WoW expansion and new mmoRPG from blizzard.

everything in warcraft 4 has already happened in WoW
Warcraft 4 is basically WoW in a sense it continues the story, in a shitty way. SC did alot better in its own gameplay compared to WC3, even though WC3 got all the nice mods.

Screw WoW, just make warcraft 4 without the stupid WoW story.
For quite some time now there have been job postings for developers for a "next gen MMO".
take a guess? starcraft mmo to **** all over that timeline just as they did with warcraft
I've heard very little information on Warcraft IV, but according to my info, it's in 'production'.
I've heard a new MMO under a new name under Blizzard is being worked on.
In a scale of successfulness in general, WoW (And I mean the Vanilla Pack itself) > Warcraft III, maybe even Warcraft I, II, and III combined.
WoW is making Blizzard $$$, and with the Cataclysm Expansion I expect a huge delay on the Warcraft Devs.

On February 12, 2009, Jeff announced that he was leaving WoW to work on Blizzard's other unannounced MMO project.

WoW was developed and would either break or make the company. I remember an interview where Jeffry Kaplan or someone said if WoW didn't succeed Blizzard would've lost everything.
And it's succeeded tremendously. I'm willing to say it's more successful than any game they've made combined. Twice.

They stated that WC4's story would follow directly WC3 TFT's, and span up until the two years later that WoW is.
So basically, it's setting up the world for when WoW takes place.
Expect the next (and hopefully last) expansion for WoW to follow the trend and get worse, especially since they are working on the newer MMO.
