OMG Thanks for this rush its so great and easy to use, very clean and great for new players
Awesome Sig made by Lhune The Incredible.
Project Zomboid An amazing indie survival zombie game
Suggestion - Spaghetti + Meatball Bramble
All heroes on the website have at least one guide listed for them now.
I'll be working on more features of the website and try to get everything else up and running but the site is very much ready for use.
Enjoy![]()
to the OP:
Great start, obviously you put a lot of work into this.
That said, you should really read the strategy article that clearly defines hero roles in terms that are more universal than those inconsistent names you have chosen.
For example you list Chronos AND Bloodhunter both as "Carry" but Pyro gets the label "Roamer". Chronos is specifically a hard carry or late carry, Bloodhunter is called an early carry or ganker or roamer or soft carry depending on what part of the world you are from. In no way should you be considering Chronos and Bloodhunter for the same type of role because other than the fact that they both end the game with a lot of kills they do completely different jobs, so IMO you need to revamp what roles your guides encourage.
The idea of this website is great and well made.
But I have one complain, this page is really bad. You cant middle click on the images and navigate in it without js. Make the links on the images and make a :hover on it instead of using JS who brings nothing :/
And I didnt look for it, but it would be great if there was all the guides linked if there is more than one.
I am not sure but there are some semicarry/carry mistakes here, dunno where to put a hero who is a ganker as well. Swift is semicarry/ganker. Bh as well. But i am pretty sure that Predator is. And warbeast.
Rfitshards and Savage as a core on pesti but not a portal key? Not really sure about your hb build as well, both skills and items. Talisman of Exile on Vak as a core?
Dunno overall, feel like you should get few really good players to check all of them ;p
I think the big hero guide accomplishes what you want while still keeping the community consolidated. Very well formatted too.
KEEPIN' IT REAL SINCE 1990
I'll have this fixed up. Initially I was planning to have the guides for the heroes taken care of with a popup (which is what is being used now) because many heroes would have more than 1 role they could perform. After putting up this thread I've changed it so that if a hero only has 1 guide available it will just go to that guide when you click on the hero. There are probably better ways of doing this so I'll keep experimenting in the mean time.
Here's the list of all guides:
http://www.infiniterush.com/theminor...es/list_guides
I'll definately be going over the hero roles again for all of the guides. Initially I had only put in Support, Carry and Initiator for the hero roles, then expanded on them later on. Bloodhunter was one of the first guides that I put on the website so I'll have that fixed up.
A lot of heroes have multiple roles that use the same item build and skill build (if they were different I'd put in a second guide), so I'll try to pick the best role for the given build if it isn't clearly stated in the guide it came from. I'll admit that I've made mistakes with a few of them though.
Which is why I'm asking the HoN community to provide feedback
Pesti - I'll go over this guide again and move some items around. The luxury items were listed as Optional in the guide and Riftshards/Savage mace were end game items.
Hellbringer - There are currently no active guides for Hellbringer, so I had to choose something from the archives. The guide I chose was for a support/tank HB which is why Deathboil isn't maxed till later on and the items are built for supporting (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/sh...ad.php?t=49231). It was the most recently updated guide I could find.
Valk - The Talismans were a typo lol thanks for pointing it out. I do check the guides after I put them up and since talismans are blue and soulscreams are blue.. I have no excuse it was an accident really![]()

not really, stun now is AoE
premium guides should be different than a black box, i just dont see the diference, instead, mark them with a red or something more colorful

You should fix your mailken guide, http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/sh...ad.php?t=52101 Is a bit more up-to date, since he doesn't have that crit anymore
Keep up the good work, would love to see it coming![]()
I'll swap out the guide in the next update. Thanks for the heads up!
I have changed most of the roles of the heroes you've mentioned. Although you don't think hag is a roamer?
As long as the item and skill builds are correct (the same as the source thread) then I'm happy with the content. If the role isn't explicitly stated in the guide then I will take a guess based on the items and skill order presented. Having said that I try not to make glaringly obvious mistakes like calling Pollywog a Hard Carry.
Thanks for the feedback though every bit helps![]()
Very good site. You should add some description for every hero to make it perfect for learning new characters (there are some tat I have learnt from there).
But I noticed one mistake. For Plague Riderthe "Staff of Master" is in the items which he should avoid, while in the article, which you linked it's in one of recomended items (IMHO it's usefull too).
I'd say you could do with some staff members to help your website. :P
