Hey I like the website.
If you want help with guides or filling out the rest of the website PM me.
The Witch Slayer guide is pretty bad. ^^
Although there may be some flaws with some of the hero guides, they've all come straight from these forums. I haven't gone ahead and made any of my own to say it's THE staple guide. If you think there are some glaring problems, point them out so I can fix them or you could make a post on the original thread where it came from, the links are found in the guides.

Straight from the Premium Guides. What looks flawed to you? =[
I'll fix that up, not all of the guides list the heroes' exact roles so I just list everything as support lol
This is straight from the guide. I don't really playthat much so I wouldn't know how Harkon's affects him. Although it does seem strange to me..
Thanks for the support =D Yay for holidays lol
Although I've been living in the premium guides section for about a week now I never actually viewed this thread. It is very much what I'm trying to do but there's a few things that I bug me about it (personal preference really), 1. I'm more of a visual person, I'd prefer to see images of what I'm doing than a chunk of text with a lot of different colours, 2. "The content is 100% based on my own judgement". The thread does look really helpful though I might look into it more.

The layout is different for every hero, and since the site isn't as popular as the hon forums, the guides listed on that site have not been discussed/debated.
There's only 2 ws guides on the forums so there wasn't much choice lol
About the hero roles, most were kind of stated in their guides and that's where I got them from. A lot of heroes can have multiple roles with different builds, the ones listed on the site are only the guides that have been posted on the forums. Originally I was only going to include Support, Carry and Initiator but the more I read from different guides the more they were broken down.
For me support can mean a lot of things such as, supporting by healing, supporting by disabling and supporting by providing extra damage. This can easily be changed on the site so I'm not too fussed.
To everyone else thanks for the responses =] keep em coming
Nice and easy quick website, although guides could use some text.
Gotta say, I like what you have going here. In light of Drasha jumping on a soap box next to Rush152 as he pins up posters.(obviously an analogy)
Rush's site is just undeniably cleaner and HoNDB ("Heroes of Newerth Database" if I'm not mistaken) actually lacks a lot of very important information that one would expect from such a site giving off the impression that it has all the info you need.
+Support for Rush152's clean and concise website.
-Respect for HoNDB(was already low enough though) and Drasha as a moderator.
I would make the portraits a click-able link instead of having to highlight them and click a popup link.
STRYKERRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Some fixes:
Scout
* Change his role to: "Carry"
* You have Shieldbreaker listed as both luxury and core.
** Keep it as core.
* You have Doombringer as luxury - remove it.
Blacksmith
* Remove Harkon's from core items.
* Put Sacrificial Stone as core.
Thunderbringer
* Replace Talismans of Exile with Bracers.
* Should never start with a Winged Courier.
* Add some stat/regen items to his initial.
Legionnaire
* Remove Snake Bracelet from luxury items.
Wretched Hag
* Blink should be picked up at level 1.
Forsaken Archer
* Absolutely, positively Shamans Headdress should not be core here.
** Shamans Headdress isnt core on anyone but Devourer, really.
* Frostwolf is an item to avoid here? Bit dumbfounded there.
** It supplies everything Archer needs with amazing synergy to Archers Split Shot in team fights.
* Bump Shieldbreaker up to core.
Overall Interface
* Make portraits direct links to the guide rather than having that annoying pop-up.
* Pictures are great - but some informative text would be wonderful.
** Pictures may be all some are looking for, but some tidbits of information toward the bottom would be great.
I was going for a similar feel here but there seemed to be so little interest I sort of dropped the project.

It was mentioned in the guide to use Frostburn instead of Frostwolf. I suppose either way you can only have one or the other since they're both attack modifiers
Overall Interface
The popups are a bit clunky and unintuitive I'll give you guys that. Pretty much what hemp_co said, it was one of the ways I could add more roles to a hero without adding another page between the hero list and the guide itself. I'll be working to change this into a hover popup instead (I couldn't do this on the first go so I just left it as a click for the sake of being able to use the site)
** Pictures may be all some are looking for, but some tidbits of information toward the bottom would be great.
I was planning to add some short comments on play style etc. in the notes section (some heroes have it at the top of the page). But adding all the bits and pieces of information for the roles became pretty tedious so I decided to leave that till the end after I got a lot more guides up. Tooltips will be added to the skills as well but not just yet.
I'll upload all of the changes at the end of the day after I've made more changes =]
It looked like it could have worked, although maybe flash might not have been the way to go?

*Whispers* I like yours better*
wow this is great thanks for doing this. personally i have no need for this as i understand all of this stuff but for noobs i can see it would be a great help.. any1 else do this on dotastrategy.com when they first started?
I like how it says torturer is a pusher but defiler is only a support.
This is awesome.
Will be spreading it to all my contacts once it improves.
Any chance you might wanna have a separate domain for this project?
It could become a big 3rd party HoN website.
the guide model is cool, but you should provide many alternative builds

Because torturer has a guide for pushing and defiler has a guide for being support. If there's a guide for defiler with a pushing build then I'd gladly include it =]
I'll be setting up it's own domain and everything soon =]
For now I'm just trying to get at least 1 build up for every hero, after that I'll start adding a lot more
