Arachna:
Great hero concept. Awesome hero. Amazing in Pub-play. Horrible in Com-play.
Comparison: Drow from DOTA
Arachna has a slow-orb like Drow.. but no CD at level 1 (OP)
Arachna has a "reactive" spell-damage reducer (often useless)
Arachna has a range increase aura (Like drow)
Arachna's ult Sucks. hardcore.
Evident Problems:
Pub-smashing hero is fine!. No team-support for Comp play. Ult's spider dies to a breathe of wind.
Fixes:
Arachan's Slow-orb needs to have a CD at level 1 and reduces the CD per level placed in it. Much like Drow in DOTA. This fixes the OP ness of a level 1 Ganking Arachna
Arachna's "reactive" spell-damage needs to be removed. By the time you use it, you are often already dead or it wears off before you engage.
Solution (Recommend by DYE): Give her a Venom-mancer type "Gale" attack or a targetable Area-slow. I recommend Line-version or Small PBAE.
Arachna's Aura is FINE. (Leave it alone)
Arachna's ult sucks. Anything and everything kills the spider. An int hero with no increase to damage can take it out in 2 hits.
Solution: Make the spider invuln and change its duration to 5/7/9 seconds or 7/9/11 seconds. Make the spider give FULL vision to invis unit its on (Like Amplify) and increase the spiders movement to 410 (So only the best-item fastest users can escape it)
Giving her a team-ability will make her useful in comp games. Fixing the ult will solve it. If you make the spider invuln but keep its current duration it'll be OP.

I agree about reactive armor, we'll be changing this to something new in the near future
I also agree the spider is way too fragile. I may make it invulnerable (though I like the decision this poses to the target being attacked) or at the very least less vulnerable to forms of AOE damage and a bit more survivability. The spider was designed to require Web Shot to slow the target to allow it to do its damage, however the attack time may be a bit too high on the spider (meaning it's losing too much ground when it stops to attack a moving target)

My biggest complaint tho is that she doesn't have anything for team-play. Drow at least has AOE Silence. She doesn't.
Agreed, the new second skill will make her a little more team oriented.
