    New Norwegian (Nynorsk) Translation

    I have begun translate HoN into nynorsk. I was first translating only interface to bokm?l, but it sounded much more fun to rather translate all into nynorsk instead. All heroes, spells and items will be translated

    Background:
    Norway have two written languages, bokm?l (book-language) and nynorsk (new norwegian). Noone talks bokm?l or nynorsk, but about 80% use bokm?l as their main written language. The bokm?l-people can easily understand the nynorsk-people and vice versa. New Norwegian sounds older and more pompous, and fairytales sounds better in nynorsk. It may sounds a bit funny too, and that's why i also translate the heroes and items.

    Examples:
    Devourer = Slaktaren
    Swiftblade = Raskakling
    Witch Slayer = Hekseslaktar
    The Madman = Gale-Lars

    What do you norwegian guys think about this translation?
    Would you use it?

    Around 15% finished now!

    Heroname-highlights:
    Pebbles = Steinar
    Succubus = Huldra
    Hellbringer = D?dsdrotten
    Deadwood = Dauskau
    The Dark Lady = Hufsa

    The Madman is going to be named "Galningen". Sorry all you Gale-Lars-fans.

    But... Hufsa is fat, TDL isn't. Explain why Lady is named Hufsa.

    Hi!

    I'm sorry to be the one pointing out this to you, but look... this is the worst idea I have ever witnessed to have seen because HoN is a dying game, and here's some news flash for you Edison, New Norwegian is dead. And even if New Norwegian is old language and magically makes it cool or whatever doesn't make it worthwhile. People'll get tired of it, the amusement will die out. And that pretty damn fast.

    It's not just the idea that is stupid and worthless - it's the whole concept of igniting it.

    "The time enjoyed wasting was not wasted", yeah well, f*ck that. This project couldn't of been enjoyable.

    Good day
