But then she was the tits.
And the cyberdemon could not fire the rocket missles.
this lol stream is really popular. just look at the viewer minutes and how many people still watch pre-recorded streams when its offline.
Usually when its LIVE it gets about 120-130 viewers. I dont think any hon stream has as huge a following as that.
But then again there probably arent as many lol streams, still this stream's popularity says something
S2 just surrendered to LoL
I read the OP and I must say that seems to be the general consensus amongst many players.
However, I enjoy playing both games for the different mechanics and looks. I greatly enjoy the built-in voip and game modes in HoN, but LoL's heroes are much more enjoyable for me to play. The problem with LoL is the lack of game modes, that is what ruins a lot of the game for me.
I don't play one of these for fun and the other for srs business, I play to win in both.
I agree with the original post, I've actually played LoL a lot. Never played dota, started with lol and have about 500 games in. I've had a lot of fun with it and learned a lot about the basic concepts of the genre. I just tried HoN a couple days ago and feels like LoL all grown up. You're right though, people do take this game a little too seriously, the lol community is a little better, but they still have their elitist tryhards too.
But I feel like the developers don't take it as seriously either. They're really slow at balancing and but also on bugs and features, and it's actually sold in stores now. They only have one game mode, a blind pick which makes countering impossible, and one map available for stat play. Still a fun game though if you just want to chill out.
HoN just feels a lot more complete and fluid. It gets knocked on for copying dota, but I never played it so it's all new to me, and really, if it's not broke, why fix it?
i just found it annoying that the guy i was killing all game (like 20 times) and had barely any items could kill me in a few hits midgame/lategame.
i was some little wizard and he was some guy with a sword and a blink attack
"When I see your face, I wanna be in the human race. You're beautiful it's true, I want to be beautiful like you."
I played LoL and I didn't enjoy it. The gameplay/graphics seemed too dull and stale, abilities aren't impressive enough, and are lacking the same personality that HoN offers.
and the name makes fun of itself. LoL!!!
A friend of mine who plays LoL keeps complaining about this thing called Queue Dodging. He says most of the time, it takes him about 30 mins to get a game going. Can one of the LoLers please someone explain what this is?
So far my longest queue was ~50 minutes due to either scum like that or drama queens who leave when they see a hero or person they don't like.

Queue dodging happens more often because people don't like a hero.
It's like me starting a game in HoN, seeing one of my teammates pick Scout, and then knowing (or thinking) that the Scout player is going to feed and suck, I immediately leave (which in LoL puts everyone back in the match-making queue).
Play fair guys, when you talk about a little girl with a teddy bear, at least give links!
