    The Sprinter- Hero Idea

A hero concept I thought up, thought I would pitch it. basically an all out gank artist
Basically, Red= negotiable, Green= things I want to keep

basically, he looks like hermes (sort of a valkyrie theme) armed with dual scythe (scythes?) and his claim to fame is being the fastest character in the game, and the only one able to push past the 522 movement speed limit. Because of this, he's the squishiest hero of them all, and sports a very low strength gain (~15, +1.5), high agility gain (~25, +3.0) and lowish int (~15, +1.8) his attack damage is also low early game (38-42) but his movement speed is an immense ~375. Basically, with marchers and slash, should have a constant 522 movespeed (or higher with ult)

    Skills as follows:
    __________________________________________________ _______________
    Skill 1- Flurries
The Sprinter is a master of his scythe, and is able to execute numerous quick strikes to his enemies and escape before they can react.

Essentially, a scout-like flurry that does normal damage. What makes it special is it has no cooldown and is a permanent attack modifier. It is refreshed by moving the sprinter a certain number of units (~300,400,500,600) and flurries for normal damage (2,3,4,5) times.

Strength: during the laning phase, gives him the ability to nail the last hits and control his lane despite his very low health
Weakness: it requires the sprinter to constantly stay on the move and due to his early game weakness, he needs his flurries to do any real damage
    __________________________________________________ ______________
    Skill 2- Intensive Training
The Sprinter demands that his allies maintain the same peak physical form as he does, and when he's around his allies earn a bonus to movement speed and a chance to evade attacks

effects allies only, not the Sprinter
    range- 600 units
    +5/10/15/20 ms, 3%/6/9/12 evasion chance

Strength: improves the chances of winning a teamfight as long as the Sprinter stays close
Weakness: makes the Sprinter a huge target during teamfights, short range keeps the Sprinter "on a leash"
    __________________________________________________ ______________
    Skill 3- Shank
The Sprinter, with an immense burst of speed, charges through everything in front of him, stunning all enemies
unitwalking, magic immunity, damage immunity while casting

An almost instant blink, the Sprinter moves straight ahead (~300/400/500/600) units, stunning every enemy he touches for (.5/1/1/1.5 seconds)
    CD: 30/20/20/15 secs

Strengths: good synergy with flurry, if a hero is trying to escape, you can shank them and flurry to finish them off. Also a great initiator for a gank with other teammates
Weakness: not a particularly long stun, can't blink through trees. Because it's not targetable, it's difficult to hit more than one hero at a time
    __________________________________________________ ______________
    Ult: Sprint
The Sprinter increases his maximum movement speed, cementing his reputation as the fastest being in Newerth
Increases his max movement speed by 11 for each level, so at level three, his max speed is 555

Strengths: obviously, it gives him the advantage of being able to catch up or run away from anyone
Weakness: His movement speed will have to be balanced so that he needs a pop an item like elder parasite to take advantage of the extra headroom, so he's not constantly moving at more than normal max move speed
    __________________________________________________ _______________

Obviously, he needs a bit of work, might need a move to replace the passive so he's a bit more interesting to play, but I leave any suggestions up to you!

Nice idea, but you said his base movement speed is 375? That's 50 more than the fastest hero in DotA - Nessaj. With boots that's a permanent 425 unless slowed.
    Let's do some calculations:
375 - Your proposed base speed.
    +70 - Ghost Marchers.
    +10% - Ghost Marchers active.
    +14% - Frostburn
    375+70+37.5+52.5 = 535 permanent movement speed.
Even without the ult to it's full potential, he moves faster than 70% of the other heroes, making him unescapable and unchasable.
With an elder parasite that's 555. Meaning he can outrun Pestilence with the same items, Scout with the same items, Madman with invis popped etc. This seems really, really OP in the hands of a half decent player. With a massive burst in attack speed means with those items he'd be capable of around 600 burst damage against an int. Add a shieldbreaker, crit and wingbow on top of that and he's capable of 1300+ burst, including crits. This seems an aweful lot like a Scout without the silence and ult.
Sorry, but i'm going to save my vote until you can think of a way to fix this.... ;(

Saving my vote. Imbalanced movespeed. High movespeed might be my thing, but this is TOO FAST.

I do agree that with riftshards, wingbow and shieldbreaker, he'd be an almost unstoppable carry, but really, what agility hero isn't with those items? most importantly, none of those items do anything about his terrible health, when focused and a targeted stun a team should have no trouble taking him down

maybe make his ult to move at max speed for a certain amount of time instead of a passive ms increase? 30/60/90 seconds perhaps, where he should be able to lose a chasing pest or madman but still give them a chance to get him? move base movespeed down to 350 so he's still quicker than mage/moon queen?

I suppose with his stun being a blink he wont have much trouble escaping, while still "moving" faster than anything. (remember corrupted disciple's attack animation when he was first released? that's how fast I want the movement to be)

what do you think about the passive and the concept of flurries?

Ridiculous move speed. Moon Queen has immense move speed as it is. Even 350 means you're bolting about as much as people who have boots... without them.

The second ability is some fluff, as well as the 3rd, which is yet another boring transportation stun, like you're addicted to Magmus or something. The ult is just lame.

I mean, the whole "move to refresh" idea of the first ability is okay, but everything else (including the Overpower [attackspam]) is "meh".

The Flurries are cool. But the passive... I don't know. It'd be nice for you to stick with your teammates to babysit them against slowers (Slither anyone?), but then this guy is a carry, not a babysitter. :/

With a movement speed of 500, he can do a flurry in about every 1 seconds. WUT.

This guy gains almost nothing from speed... He even has a blink! You have to make him more dependant from speed. He needs a passive, maybe, that gains something from speed.
Take a look at my hero suggestions:
