    Flame Boots and Freeze Boots

    Just got this insane idea, lol

    FLAME BOOTS recipe : 800 G (overall 4700 G)
    requires : Ghost Marchers 1500 G + Fire Brand 2400 G


    Passive Stats
    +80 movement speed
    +15 attack speed
    +25 damage
    +10 AGI
    +6 STR

    Activation
    +10% Movement speed
    Unitwalking
    Leaves a trail of fire that causes DPS (20 DPS, last for 3 seconds). Trail stays for 7seconds. Any unit that is passed through during this buff will be 'Flamed' (does not stack)

    Flamed (3seconds) (stacks)
    enemy units,-2 armor and DPS
    ally units, +2 armor


    Alternatively,


    FREEZE BOOTS recipe : 800 G (overall 4700 G)
    requires : Ghost Marchers 1500 G + Ice Brand 2400 G


    Passive stats

    +70 movement speed
    +25 damage
    +10 STR
    +6 AGI
    On attack, applies Frost to target (frost lower's down MS and AS for a period of time, 10% MS reduction, and 5% AS reduction for 2 seconds)

    Activation
    +10% movement speed
    Unitwalking
    Leaves a trail of ice that applies frost (lowers MS and AS to whoever that passes or is on the icy path for 3seconds. Trail stays for 7 seconds. Any unit that is passed through during this buff will be 'Freezed' (does not stack)

    Freezed (3 seconds) (stacks)
    enemy units, -2 magic armor, slowed (-5% MS)
    ally units, +2 magic armor, speeded (+5% MS)


    Well, thats all i guess. Numbers can be changed, so vote on concept

    The basic idea is nice (boots + ice-/firebrand), which is why you get a t-up no matter what the numbers are.
    Not sure what they should be exactly, but Unitwalking definitely has to be taken away from both.

    i don't think it is right to take away the extra effects from both, reducing freeze effect from frostbrand and taking away movement speed buff vom firebrand

    Icebrand 'frost' effect was not reduced, it is just less time for the balance.
    Also the movement speed buff from firebrand is added to the additional movement speed, do the math, Ghost marchers give 70 movement speed, and firebrand gives an additional 10%, added up = 77movement speed only, while flame boots give 80 movement speed and also the unitwalking which is another 10%

    i did the math, 370 + 10% =/= 380 and u have phasing with ghost marchers aswell

    Frostburn Boots. Deals DoT Damage and freeze. Serisouly, I kind of don't like this concept. There's enough boots already. We don't need 2 more. I could think of any boot right now, like Lightning Boots. Activate it and then you will walk 522 ms for 3 seconds.

    The problem here is not that the boots are bad or boring. They just do the same thing as orb walking without you having to turn around and attack every 2 seconds while running away. They are useful in far too specific situations and not worth getting in most situations.

    To Flame Boots: Why would you want to spend 800 gold to combine two items to get 1 that gives less movement speed than before? In regards to the flame boots, defeats the purpose of boots, and that is making you move faster.

    To Freeze Boots: The explanation is so confusing. First you say (does not stack) then you say (stacks).

    To both: Why? I don't see any point to this. There is an obvious obsession with boots in this world, but why not try to make an item that does this that is not boots? Example: Fire stone, when activated the user is immolated, leaving a trail of fire behind them and giving them immolation damage (does same stuff you describe).

    Ice stone, when activated the user gives off frigid temperatures, hindering enemies in snow that the caster leaves in their wake.

    See my point? Why should this concept go to boots?

    umm i would say yes but if you add firebrand in boots does the ms stack with firebrand itself...

    I'm more of a fan of the flame boots. I think that the flame boots should probably have a bit higher activation speed since the firebrand speed boost doesn't carry over.
