Yes, though it may need some tweaking.
No, this is bad because...
Crystal Coat
This is inspired by the old blademail from DotA.
Apprentice's Robe 450
Mystic Vestments 400
Chain Mail 550
Recipe 1850
=
Total 3250
+6 Intelligence
+6 Magic Armor
+6 Physical Armor
Passive Return either:
25% Melee damage return
-OR-
25% Magic damage return
The damage return type can be changed by activating the item (item toggle) with a cooldown of 6 seconds.
Damage cannot stack with Sand Wraith's Dissipation.
This damage return cannot stack with Barbed Armor's return.
I don't know about anyone else, but I miss the old blademail with its passive return. This is in tribute to that item but with added magic damage return. The % of the damage is still taken by the wearer, but is given in its respective damage type back to the attacker.

Passive damage return based on damage received is too strong for an item. The current one isn't overpowered ebcause it has a duration, and things are fine the way they are.
Very nice, but SO BADLY OVERPOWERED. Take the return %'s down a lot and increase the recipe cost by like 1000.
I nerfed it a bit. Is it worth getting? The melee damage return wouldn't counter life-steal.

Version 1.2 Update
-Increased recipe cost by 1400
-Increased damage returns to 25%
-Damage returned cannot stack with Sand Wraith's Dissipation.
This makes the item very expensive. For the passive effects (other than the return) you are paying a lot of money. Anything below 15% damage return is easily countered by lifesteal + regen and is basically useless. This makes the item more deadly but at the same time harder to get. Please leave your thoughts on the change.
good idea, i missed the old blademail from dota, too
but imo 25% melee AND magic return is very evil
just a suggestion: make it toggle-able 30% magic OR 30% melee (for example)
Thanks Porada_Ninfu. That's a great idea. I felt like 30% was pretty high for passive so I kept it 25 and lowered the recipe price a bit.
I agree with Porada. I think the toggle would make it more skillful plus more balanced. Id do anything to put my warm body into a Crystal Coat.
