I wonder when America and the Middle-East will realise that the rest of the world finds their religious antics as hilarious. Hint to America, most of us gave up on Religion a long time ago, namely when we found out that it tends to breed corruption, conservatism and just plain old silly ideas. This is true, but there is actually NOTHING on the rifles themselves. It was only ever on certain scopes used only by Rangers and SF. There were a few articles about this in the Army times but its not really a big deal. We still use the same scopes today as far as I know, it didn't affect their contract with the Pentagon.

Besides, what's so bad about being conservative? People are trying to preserve their values, just because YOU don't personally follow those values doesn't mean you shouldn't respect the values of others. So just because your an atheist who thinks that everyone who doesn't think as you do is a moron doesn't mean that you need to spit on just about everyone on this planet who decided to follow a religion.
Extremists ruin others' view of their religions. True Christians, Taoists, Hindu, and Muslims are very peaceful people - to the CORE.

I've been Catholic all of my life and have NEVER been approached or had sexual advances made on me by anyone in the church. A few bad eggs and suddenly all priests are pedophiles. There are many retards out there that believe any type of hype that they can. Most of these nonconformists retards conform exactly to the beliefs of their nonconformist brethren. LOL. They ARE conformists - it's age old...almost a cliche.

I'm an Atheist btw. I really can't stand atheists that actively bash religious folk though, as much as I can't stand religious folk bash other religion/atheists.
Religion is(or at least, should be) a personal belief, and that should be respected. And for many people, god(s) do(es) help them in their lives, that is an irrefutable fact. The only thing that can be debated is whether (the) God(s) helps them physically through divine intervention or divine communication, or whether "god(s)" give them the inspiration and hope they need to help themselves
