Best guide ever... just played Rampage in a game, greatly inspired by this thread. From about 17 to 32 minutes, I held only steamboots and 5 bracers. We won.
feels like a cheap copy of the skeleton king guide from dota, which was awesome with the whole armlet thing.

This replay is also proof that Frostburn owns all. I even got their Blood Hunter to say "This was gg when Rampage got SNY."
Good guide, my favorite parts were as follows:
1x CHICKEN COURIER BECAUSE YOU ARE PLAYING A PUB. BECAUSE IF YOU ARE NOT PLAYING A PUB YOU MAY WELL HAVE PICKED THE WRONG HERO AND SHOULD PROBABLY REPICKED MEANING YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY A CHICKEN ANYMORE.DO NOT GET INSANTIARIUS BECAUSE YOU ARE A DOTA/HON PLAYER READING A GUIDE WHICH MEANS THERE IS A 9/10 CHANCE YOUR INTELLIGENCE PLACES YOU IN THE BOTTOM PERCENTILE FOR SIMPLE SKILLS LIKE TURNING AN ITEM OFF WHEN YOU'RE NOT FIGHTING.DO NOT BUY TPS. THE TOWER CAN WAIT, AND YOUR CAUSE IS BETTER SERVED BY CHARGING ALL THE WAY THERE FROM THE FOUNTAIN.PRETTY MUCH IGNORE YOU HAVE A LANE PARTNER. HE IS PROBABLY USELESS. IF HE ISN'T USELESS, HE ISN'T EXPECTING MUCH FROM YOU.

Playing an all-random game I got Rampage, and quickly pulled up the first guide I could find to skim over a quick build/skill order as I had limited experience with him. Ctrl-F led me to this thread.
And we won within 17 minutes with my Rampage a 4-0-4. Two thumbs up.
Multiple hero pick game for lulz with the clan.
We went 6 rampage.
We charged from the fountain as 6 everytime.
We lost.

Not just what I read from other guides. Hack&Slash has been advised to me on several occasions actually for rampage. It's just that with an ounce of research you'd know that the build given here does not make rampage good, but mediocre instead. If you need a hard-carrying tank you start off with a runed axe, get a heart and demonic breastplate. If you need burstdamage you get EP, Shrunken head and insanitarious. Under no circumstances should you ever get Frostburn as it doesn't stack with a shieldbreaker, which is a much more powerful item on Rampage.
You are missing the point dude. This is a guide to playing a pub game, in which you are not looking out for your teams best interests; but having fun.
If you want a hard carrying tank: Don't pick rampage.
If you want burst damage: Don't pick rampage.
You say doesn't stack with shieldbreaker, yet it is in none of the builds you suggested. At any rate the build up for all your items are simply too high for a hero that shouldn't be farming.
In a pub spend 450 x2 1000 x2 and 950 x2 and charge away. How do you expect that a runed axe would compete with frostburn? Or just Insanitarious?
Just try the build and have fun man.
This is really funny. The flamer of this guide is the dude who blames his teammates for his low kdr or something, yet insists that using a Rampage build that condones prolonged periods of farm is the way to go.
