Don't know if there is subject like this,
but there is a problem for noob players like myself I think.
Like a noob, I go out and look for noob games. But people playing noob games aren't really noobs. It's mixed. Why couldn't I play with noobs until I learn to play the game better? Is there a chance to make KD ratio count for noob/pro.
For example, someone who played over 100 games or so and has high KD ratio can't really be noob, can he?
I mean there could be some better balancing with players. You could have noob/advanced/pro games.
There could be an option in your profile settings so you could set if you think you're noob / advanced / pro. So you will be marked as one. So if those pro players playing noob games want to do it in future, they will have "noob mark" next to their name. I have no problem having it, as I am a noob. But I do have a problem when I want to play noob game and I am fighting with experienced players...
Once you go out and set advanced/or noob, you won't be allowed to go back to noob. And those who set noob, can't play advanced or pro games.
You could set that in noob game there is max +3/+5 points per game or so. Then it won't payout to go and pwn noobs as you won't get too much points for that. (advanced games would have more, and pro games even more...)
I can't really study the game for weeks so I could play. I do have a RL, and I do really like the game. But I can't make a job out of this as I do have to make a living...
While I agree with the spirit of your suggestion, I don't like the way you propose to implement it. I would rather instead see some server side mechanism which "decides" who are noobs, and who aren't, and then disallow people who are no longer considered by the server as being noobs from joining any "noobs only" games.
This mechanism could be based on number of games won, or PSR, or whatever, even a combination of factors, but once someone is flagged as no longer being a noob they can no longer get noob status back.
@Zadam
Yes, I would prefer a system too, much better, but couldn't figure out any except those I wrote about...
@Vesuro
Yes I know, but what's with Noobs only server type?
What does it stand for?
You have noobs only, noobs allowed and pro or something...
If I'm looking for noob only server, what's the issue?
I mean, if there's no use for it, why does it exist, no offence?
...except that everything else is working so great,
I think this thing would ease the learning process for us starters...
