I'm sure a vast majority of HON players are skinny high school kids who have never touched a weight in there life.
Well this is the original cookie cutter workout routine for newbies

You can follow that, but I advise you read my friends alternative that he made. It's a little more in depth and answers all your noob weightlifting questions.

The rest of the site is also and invaluable resource to newbies wanting to get big.

You won't get big if you don't have nutrition.
Sorry "enlightened" football captain, enjoy useless weights when you eat Mc Donalds on the side.

Is better for learning how to REALLY get big.

I hope that somewhere on that guide it mentions "Order a Large Dominos Pepperoni Passion" otherwise my training regime is going horribly wrong...![]()
dont want to be a huge muscle guy, would be disgusted with myself
in fit looking shape is better imo
this is the ignorance im trying to solve. 9 months of working out will put you in normal good looking shape with decent muscle. Guys don't get ridiculously big till year 2-3.
there no reason not to work out for 9 months and get in great shape then just maintain that weight.
This is an example of were the first 9 months of training can get you (you can most likely grow even more than this in the 9 months)
Any women who tells you guys with muscles are unattractive is either too ugly to get a decent looking guy or has never fuked a decently built guy.

a_cloth, don't bother.
In 5 years, when the same 14 year olds who have been eating garbage their entire life drinking 10 sodas a day have their metabolism slllllllllllllllllllllllllllow the **** down and the blimp up 40-60 pounds over a year, they'll go "DAMNIT WHY DIDNT I GET INTO A GOOD HABBIT BACK WHEN IT WAS EASIER TO FORM HABBITS!"
Speaking from personal experience here. I went from lean and toned 180 to fat and flabby 240 around my 19-21st birthday. Dropped back to 200 cause I started running (well, started walking at first, then jogging, now its running) and watching what I eat, I'll be damned if I'm gonna have a heart attack in 3 years cause my arteries are clogged.
Just because it happened to you doesn't mean you have to reassure yourself that it happens to everyone else, because it doesn't.
I went from thin and strong to... thin and strong.
Lifted for a semester in uni 'cause the gym was free and stuff and one of my buds was always *****ing about going alone. Ain't got the time, energy or money now for that bullshit. I'd rather spend the gym money on things like electricity bills and food and spend my free time doing things like sleeping.
Also, you have some sort of complex thinkin' all gals who think a musclebound dude ain't hot ain't hot themselves, bud. Why don't you have a seat and we can talk about it for a while.
