Great guide! Just played a game by following this, sweet victory, I used to dislike electrician, now I love it.

    Mad props to you man!

    Very helpful.

The mid-game is tough because ur reliant on others a lot more, but once u get the frostfield plate your role on the battlefield is very apparent.

Thanks, may you be rewarded for your efforts.

Should consider Kuldra. Makes him a disable monster and makes him nearly unkillable.

With static shield, does it matter if I leave it on all the time?

Early game this is a bad idea, you won't have the mana to support it and probably have limited options for regaining what you need for grip/cleanse. Later on once you have frostfield keeping it on is fine, but typically I keep it off at the start of a fight and turn it on about halfway through to ensure I'll get 2-3 disables in and bait enemies into attacking me instead of our dps.

Cool guide. I've been trying to pick out a strength hero to have in mind when my team picks heavy towards int and agi in pubs. This might be the one. I'll try it out tonight.

Also not sure if it was mentioned, but marchers early on can snag some good grabs an kills in the lane stage. I prefer going stat boosters first, but it depends on my lane partner.

thx for the post DM18 im sure it will help. I prefer to grab a few mana pots (2) at the beginning but that just suits my aggressive playstyle

Not sure if it has been mentioned but I just laned with a Jereziah and his combo with Electrician is lethal. I've probably played Electrician more than any other hero and I can safely say their combo is far more effective than Swiftblade.

We were laning against an Arachna and Warbeast bottom (we were scourge). In the beginning Arachna harassed the hell out of us, making levels 1-5 tough, but once we hit 6 it was a joke. I would static grip arachna from a far distance and jereziah would come and righteous strike and beat the hell out of her. Finally when my grip was close to ending he would heal one of us dealing massive aoe damage to her and warbeast and I would use energy absorption immediately after grip ended.

Finally after my grip ended (depending on whether or not arachna gained some distance since we both didn't have boots) I would shock her and finish her off. We'd then chase the low in health Warbeast (since we've been tanking his damage from the beginning and our aoe's did decent damage) and I'd grip him once the cooldown ended (this usually required us to run past their tower). Rinse and repeat.

It eventually got so bad that their defiler in mid lane replaced arachna just to try and push us back. But even with her ult released and 2 level advantage, our aoe's, disables, heals, and slows just completely overpowered.

Add shift-queuing Energy Absorption after you casted Static Grip. It's the best way to combo those 2 skills.

I'm like the only person who thinks of these things because nobody else mentioned it lol

iono as long as u have quick reflexes you should have no problem chaining them.

In fact the only thing I shift queue is magmus ult and blink.

But yea I'll throw it in there anyway, won't hurt.

I don't do that. Most of it is common sense.

Not for noobs. Like myself. Which i suppose is your target audience.

Fair enough if you don't do it, though.

If you mean lane combos, Electrician is good with pretty much anyone. He's best with people that can chain-nuke/disable (like Pyromancer/Glacius) or people that can do a lot of damage in a short time (Swiftblade)
