I'd have to say you're wrong. Definitely Frostfield first, Kuldra second or behe, a hood obv. depending on the game somewhere in here, and never a puzzlebox until they can see invis.

Puzzlebox will be amazing once it's fixed though, outstanding if you rush it.

yea this is true. It is bugged atm so I recommend you avoid it, unless you want to get some micro practice in.

At what time are you suppose to get frostfield plate around? I just seem to never be able to get it.

I typically farm it around 32-40 minutes. However, we don't pick Electrician to farm frostfield plate, but to gank and for his lane control. Your teammates aren't exactly going to be pissed at you for not farming frostfield plate if you have done your fair share of ganking.

We had a Dazzle / Elec lane farm Shivas in 18 minutes. I was pretty impressed.

Played Electritian first time today. Followed your guide and ruled the other team away. We were losing until level 5. died three times (lol). But then the grip and the absorption really kicked in. The other Team had no answers to the amazing disable.

I bought Shaman Headress and loled, when Pyromancer threw everything at me, he had and i still had half of my HP

im not trying to farm for it but it seems like i just never get it.

Also people were arguing with me ingame about going bubble (the 2nd skill) early game.....

I'd say 50% of the time I never get frostfield. Really all you need is phase boots and in some cases the hood equivalent.

All your kills SHOULD be going to your carry/other teammates. With just your naked stats you are an absolute beast and a threat since your disable absolutely wrecks. So combine the target on your back with 0 kills and, yeah, I can see why you never get the plate.

Mana shield early game is pointless and a waste, you have a small mana pool as it is that you need for gripping/ulting which your 3rd skill resupplies for free as well as doubles as a nuke.

I love frostfield plate but I find it too expensive to farm for in most games. Elec needs to be able to tank ASAP, so I rush Helm of the Black Legion, enhanced marchers, and then go for StormSpirit as a 3rd core item. It gives you good mana regen (Frostfield has no regen), the extra mana buffs your shield nicely, and it gives you speed that stacks with boots to rush in for the grip or escape. Also the clicky will allow you to disable tanks/carries in a team battle, or throw it on someone if your ult is on cooldown in order to get in range for grip.

    Helm of the Black Legion
    Enhanced Marchers
    2x Talisman of Exile
    Stormspirit
    Frostfield Plate

Is the order in which I've been getting my items. In the few games where I've gotten every item I've become ridiculously unkillable. If it drags on from there I would probably go for Puzzlebox or Sacrificial Heart.

I've also been lvling the Shield earlier while skimping on Shock Absorbption, but leaving it off mostly until lvl 3. This is all to be more useful earlier in the game and to have lvl 3/4 shield and 3/4 static grip when the ganking phase starts (around lvls 7-10). Starting to lvl shield at lvl 12 is too late imo.

win combo!: absorb, grip, cleansing, absorb + attack
That indeed is so right. That there is my Electrician playing style.
First I just prefered 3 ring of sorcery's. But nowadays I prefer Storm Spirit.

Why is this not a premium guide yet? Looks pretty complete to me.

Eh ty very much mb I should consider applying for premium status, as well as some of my other guides?

Thing is though, that being a player of 5-6 years I am certain that a lower tier player reading my guides will be given all the information that they need to preform to an acceptable standard, the only barrier being direct player skill. I did check out the premium qualifications when premium guides were introduced, and I firmly believe some of the criteria is something not required.

As I have mentioned on more then one occasion I hate the allies/enemies section. A complete waste of time and space imho. Anyone with common sense and knowledge of hero skills should be able to throw in some combos in their own head.

There is also something like a early game, mid game, late game kind of requirement. Take a look at any of my guides. I mention ganking, team fights, laning, and if applicable, other strats. I have yet to receive a single complaint regarding when any of the above applies. You know why? Because I give the reader ample information to make his own judgments on when he should be ganking (for example I make it crystal clear that slither and electrician should crave for ganks early game, though I never mention it directly), when he should do in a lane, and what he should do in team fights. Isn't that what HoN/DoTA is basically comprised of? Laning, ganks, teamfights, and other (pushing/farming).

Edit: After much thought I decided to give it a try. Nominated all my guides for premium status, wish me luck

The last game I palyed I was Elec for the first time. I kepy getting disabled while in the charge phase so I grabbed a shrunken head and it completly turned my game around. My team wasn't the best but could pump out massive damage while the entire other team tried to focus on me. We got genocide like 4 times after that.

When do you start using the shield all the time? Is that only after you get a frostfield plate?
