Well, TOO BAD IT'S ME BLACKSMITH!
Right Click Deny
This mod lets you deny creeps on right click. It doesn't work on your pets or your allies, because that's probably a bad idea.
*poisons Scout with his ult, his line AoE and his autoattack*
*was already running*
*walks up to Scout, misclicks and hits him, almost killing him.*
*gets the kill*
Allchat: LOL noob treant
And that's why it can only target creeps, and then only Legion/Hellbourne creeps.
You can switch the mod's left and right click buttons (so long as you don't start assigning the mouse buttons to keys, you'll be fine). Just enter the console with ctrl+f8 and type in SetSave leftclickdeny 1 and press Enter.
A thank you goes out to Bangerz for helping me in the early stages of this mod. He gave me some ideas that were integral to the design of this mod.
S2 currently has no policy on this mod. Their policy with mods in general is that unless they make a specific policy against the mod, it's legal. This mod does nothing that's banned from use in mods. All it does is fix a problem that came about due to the Warcraft 3 engine in DotA, but is not currently a restriction in HoN because the K2 engine is more advanced and allows for more customization.
Item massacre bug fixed! Now, this only activates on the warlocks, archers, imps, saplings, catapults and heavy ballistae.
Mod is disabled when shift is active. This means orders you make when shift is held will be normal orders, as if the mod didn't even exist. You can still attack move with shift, you just have to press A.
Version 1.2 Beta
The mod now works based on hotkeys instead of a clickable panel.
There should be no more issues with pinging, screen dragging or using custom mouse binds when hovering over creeps.
Automatically assigns your CommanderSecondary key to a Right Click Deny key, but you will have to set it back when you're no longer using this mod (obviously?)
Now supports lefties, righties and people who use keyboard keys and specialized mouse keys for right clicks.
No more issues in-game whatsoever.
Version 1.3 Beta
Minor bugs have been fixed.
The hotkey is now conditional based on if the mod is loaded. Deny right click behaves like regular right click when you're playing without the mod.
If regular secondary button is assigned, the mod will automatically assign deny secondary button to its keys when the game loads.
Default key now works for deny secondary button!

If we had a +rep system this would get +rep.
Should be a part of the game, imo.

I was promised a poem for my help.
I was dissapointed by the lack of rhymes with Bangerz.

WOOO! Awesome! Thank you so ******* much.
Btw, it doesn't allow you to deny Archers/Warlocks for some reason.
Hahaha, you punk your own items when you right click them to pick them up! The only way it does not function this way is if you are super close to the item. If you are any distance away, you shoot it good. Any fix to that? If not, this mod will have to go!
I <3 U!!
This is what I have wanted for so long cuz I get really tired of pressing the "A" button to get to deny a creep, this makes it so much easier and hopefully will encourage the use of denyin!!!
I believe he's working on a fix for the item problem right now Be patient, simply just don't use it for now. Or, go to console and type
Setsave leftclickdeny 1
That way, you left click to deny and you can still right click to pick up items.
I would really like to use this mod, but only after the item deny is fixed.
IMO S2 needs to implement this in-game in options. As in, provide an option along the lines of, "tick box to allow denying of creeps using right-click mouse button" "untick box to only allow denying with A"...
Thanks for the mod though! I hope you fix the item thing (i haven't tested it yet).
I just tested this, and yeah I have to pass on this one until the item problem is fixed.
