    Question Hellflower

Who would you recommend putting hellflower on. Also what point of time would you advise getting it? Should it be rushed on certain occasions or only obtained after certain core items?

Maybe Puppet. Maybe Vindicator. Somewhat possible on Madman.
But it's not needed on anyone and generally not a good Item.

Good on any int hero (more so on semi-carry ones like Puppet Master) if you don't have a silence and you need a silence.

As for when you'd get it, i'd say get a great arcana fairly early and finish off the last two after you have your core.

If that doesn't help you, you could also try the Training Grounds.

The problem with Hellflower/Orchid is that it offers solely int/AS and that silence.

It can be replaced by a more well-rounded Sheepstick/Kudra which offers rounded stats and a stronger CC (Hex).

Though Orchid is more offensive oriented which appeals to those who want more 'dps'. It's weaker than Kudra/Sheepstick, but easier to build.

Like my favorite item. I like it on Armadon, Madman, Vindicator, basically anything that can carry but is in need of mana and AS

Vindicator + Blacksmith with a possibility of puppet (tho not really since there are much better items).

put it on demented shaman. it's an easy build and it makes him a baller, synergizing with his ult.

If you put it on Shaman, don't rush it, get some survivability first. Then get Hellflower.

Wretched Hags seem to do well with rushing Hellflower.

I get it, skadi, and shield breaker on shaman sometimes. (carry mode shaman. lol)

it's usually core me on shaman, as i take to silencing the most annoying hero(lich, behemoth, magmus, ect.)

Saw it on Deadwood once. He catch you, run in, silence, and 1 shot u. No chance to do anything. And comparing it to kuldra is not quite fair since hellflower is a lot easier to build up.

Ty for all the replies. For some reason I was hoping for it to be great on PM.. However, like others said sheepstick was more useful if the team was desperate for a disable, and if I wanted dps it always seemed better to just go with the shieldbreaker. The same with harkons.. Just didn't seem practical to get it early.. and after hex/shieldbreaker then shrunken head the game is pretty much over. I just have trouble seeing where some items would ever (if ever) take precedence.

the problem is there are barely any int heroes that build around physical dps.

pretty much vindicator and puppetmaster. it goes pretty well on puppet, good parter to his ROFLimba length disable, but on vindicator, sheep gives what he needs. a disable, hp, and lots of int, so unless my farming is absolute dogshit, i'll always try to get sheep as core on him.

It's nice because Hag is basically a semi-carry and a lot of her damage comes from autoattacking. I sometimes build it after Nome's.

Excellent on her, especially if you activate it right before your burst.

    You'll 3-shot people.

i build on VJ towards end of my build. Get 2 Arcana first for dps with Cursed Ground, build stuff, then towards end of build i get Hell to free inv space then get other stuff.
