What are your most trusted hero picks and item builds to counter magebane lategame. Yes, assume you are unable to gank him very well between his babysitting team and blink away/lane swap.

Mass disable.
Chronos and Sand Wraith, even Pred will do. You may not kill him, but you'll make him run away with his tail between his legs.

If chained correctly its 9.25 second of magebane not blinking.
Puppet is by far the best. Longest set of disables and if you got PM he is going to die early. Not to mention his magic armor won't help very much vs PM
sheepstick/hellflower + any int disabler lol, by far one of the easiest carries to counter as long as your team is coordinated with their disables

I know it sounds crazy but with the right build, mage can't take his mana down at all.

Actually, Witch Slayer does epic against him. Make him a midget for 3.5 secs, drain all his mana. Do whatever...
If he has full mana then just stunlock and kill him.

Panda can keep him disabled for over 10 secs while doing sick amount of dmg.
