Right click to whisper

Can anyone make a mod so I can right click on my friends name in the list and whisper them. The hon chat system is sort of annoying and I prefer to just whisper, but it is kind of annoying to type /w XXXX every time. Is it possible at least?

Just type /r to reply after they've whispered you. Or press F6 and use the built-in messenger.

I know how to do it, but to initiate conversations it would be easier if you could just right click on a friend in the list and hit whisper. I'm talking about in the lobby.

cant you just double click the name in the lobby or is that just in channels?

on channels only you can double click to whisper

on buddy list it will open an IM window and really is so annoying

Just wanted to say, who ever said the whole IM system was for people playing games. They're meant for private messaging when you're not playing, there's a reason there's both.

Whisper fails and IMs are 10x better.
Private messaging + instant response + not playing a game = win.

Yah double clicking on your buddies to whisper would be perfect to either one would make life easier.

Ahh a nice easy mod to boost my skills with. Ill start now, should take 1-4 days tops. Unless i find stuff i can't do. (I'll look into right clicking first cuz it's easyer)

P.S I've been grieving for something like this but I didn't think of modding it :P

Rightclick is easyer for me cuz atm im more familiar with the cc pannel right click menu.

As for progress well its pretty easy to say the message in chat but to keep it there without entering it is another story. So far i think the easiest attempt will be a message box prompt, type in the message and it will whisper that. I'll be adding better/different ways if i can work on it more. We'll see.
