Ask yourself this first:
Am i playing leoric?
Yes: Get an armlet
no: Get an armlet
but i'm too noob to activate/deactivate it
what the ****, you have one active skill you dumb ****.
WHAT DO I DO IN A TEAM FIGHT?
1. LOCATE CLOSEST ENEMY THAT DOES SOMETHING IN THE FIGHT
2. ACTIVATE ARMLET
3. HELLFIRE BLAST HIM.
4. STAB HIM.
5. IF HE IS DEAD, GO TO STEP 6. ELSE, REPEAT 3 AND 4
6. GO TO STEP 1. IF THERE ARE NO ENEMIES LEFT, GO TO STEP 7
7. DEACTIVATE ARMLET
(YOUR ACTUAL EXPERIENCE MAY VARY. YOU MAY NEED TO BKB OR
REINCARNATE SOMEWHERE IN THAT AREA)
Well, everything in the guide is good, just the only problem im facing, is when you leaped at someone, and hes running, when the slow has worn off, he can easily escape? What to do against this?

"Homo sapiens non urinat in ventum."
"A wise man doesn't piss into the wind."
That's a good question. =\ Also, what would be a preferred skillbuild when NO PANDA is detected on enemy team?
1>3>5>7 = LEAP
2> Stone Hide
4>6>8>9 = Carnivorous
10>11>16 = ULT
ELSE = stats?
THEN > 23>24>25 = maxxing stone hide?
People who max Carnivorous over Stone Hide are ****ed up. You take one level of Carnivorous and then max Leap/Stonehide FFS.
Does remind me of a guide for Skeleton King in DotA. However with less caps :cheese:
Anyways YOU DIDNT TELL ME WHEN TO KILL KONGOR YOU ****
Good guide :P
Not too many pictures (which is good) of showing how you can leap from every damn spot and such things with I see in many other guides for heroes with similar skills. I also didn't know carnivorus was physical damage I thought it was pure % of current hp. Now I feel stupid for even believing so :P
About countering Panda, stone hide does give shitloads of armor so activating it is still not completely stupid, I guess. Do I recieve hate?
so, i have a friend who is really bad (at this game, and pred.. but somehow his psr is 1500+.. watch his game as pred http://replays.heroesofnewerth.com/m...p?mid=13160415
he thinks he knows how to play pred better than i do (i follow this guide... shield/axe/runes to start, steamboots, insanitarious, shieldbreaker, daemonic bp, and behemoth's heart).
so his method of playing is.. he starts off with 2 pieces for chalice and runes or pot. then he finishes the chalice, and jungles a bit at 3. he pretty much uses his charge on the forest creeps, since he has a chalice. without a shield/axe or fast melee, he isn't healing himself all that much either. not efficient at all. then he goes for a savage mace.
someone please tell him he's a dumbass noob who doesnt know how to play pred. i seriously think psr's broken since his is so high (just watch him play and you'll see). it seems like every game he is being carried by teammates.
People who get EP and phase boots on Predator make me laugh.
pretty good read, gonna try it out tonight. And to the guys bashing him about the SK guide, who gives a rats ass.
I prefer :HackNSlash: (frostburn) over :Shieldbreaker: for my attack modifier for 3 reasons.
1. If you have :Steamboots: your leap will only keep them close for so long, if they have :EnhancedMarchers: or :PostHaste: they will be gone once your slow wears off. If you don't want to blow your ult for killing that silly hero who is all by himself frostburn will keep him from escaping. + move to you - move to them = you win
2. frostburn = faster attack speed = more synergy with carnivorous. Granted it's not a lot, but every little bit helps.
3. frostburn = more survivability. Not only do you have more hp, but you have an extra 14% move-speed, if your team-fight is looking bad, or you can only solo 2 of them, you just pop stone hide and run out of there.
I haven't seen anything out there for pred, I think it's in a Scout guide, but I know there is a chart displaying how :HarkonsBlade: out scales :Shieldbreaker: against people with high armor. HOWEVER, I have not tried a :HarkonsBlade:, maybe I will put that on the to do list.
Here is a lost of all 3 times I have played pred since the last global stat reset:
I don't know..
Everytime I get steamboots, insanitarius and shieldbreaker can start 3 hitting people to death, if I have a breastplate on top of that pretty much a GG guaranteed...
ive played him twice recently without getting insanitarius
gonna get it next time i play him
Great Guide! I used to make elder parasite and ignore insanitarius, now I use it all the time and I see that I'm doing a lot better.
not what other guides *haven't mentioned, the replay sections makes op look like a Troll.
btw no one used predator in top match ups, LOL
OP is wrong. I bought a PS3 and do not regret it. PS3 > The-microsoft-trash-device-that-has-got-no-blu-ray-drive-and-never-will-have-one.
srsly, if u get steamboots and no frostburn, you will be way too slow for anything, even with ult on. Despite of this, it's an informative and entertaining guide.
