I think it'd be helpful if we kept the guides and strategies section orderly and restrict new topics to complete guides and strategies.
Let's use this topic for quick questions, like "how do I counter ______", or "can someone suggest a build for ______".
how long do you think it will take for this page to sink to page 2?

Who are the best babysitters for Night Beast (a.k.a sneak assassin) assuming that Thunderbringer (a.k.a Zeus) is soloing mid?
Any hero that can apply a lot of solo pressure can do well.
Basically, because Night Hound needs to get farmed, his lane mate will ideally be terrorizing the opposition while Night Hound farms.
Pollywog Priest, if played correctly, can provide a lot of pressure once level 3 or 4 because of his disable--once he grabs someone, Night Hound can deal a lot of damage. However, Pollywog Priest is slow and frail.
Voodoo Jester and Demented Shaman are good choices--both can heal (though most VJ's don't get the heal early) and disable. I'd go with Demented Shaman because he's more likely to get heal early and heal more often, though Voodoo Jester is by far the more deadly hero killer.
There are other choices too. I'd personally go with Demented Shaman.
As a general rule of thumb, how long are you looking to farm as a carry hero before you switch to ganking and/or team pushes?
How to counter Jereziah and electric laning? Even short range melee are tough.

I personally will farm nonstop until it's absolutely NECESSARY to join the team in a large fight (for example, if they're pushing). It's also useful of course to gank IF the gank is in your farming area. Time is of the essence of course.
It's ridiculously tough, I agree. You have to plan ahead--Puppetmaster is a pretty good choice for his excellent harassment ability. Puppeteer's Hold also cannot be dispelled by Jerez's Protective Charm. To be safe, you'll want two ranged heroes, both with some form of disable. This is because a good Electrician will go after the disabler if you only have one disabler in the lane. You should therefore pick ranged disablers to counter the fact that it's a double melee lane. Puppeteer, Witch Doctor, Demented Shaman are all good picks. A Swiftblade isn't horrendous either, as Blade Frenzy is very dangerous to melee heroes.

Anyway of making a new account? I've finally learned how to play properly but my kill/death ratio is horrendous (although this is partly due to team stacking since I don't get enough time to check everyone's stats) and I end up getting kicked from most games I join.
