"No need to navigate back and forth... just click, and click."

This is a suggestion that is supposed to make shopping both quicker and easier for newbies as well as experienced players.
Every time you enter the shop, you may have forgotten where the item you were buying lies, in which category, and how it looked, etc. And even if finding the items is no problem for you, The Quickshop will make things alot faster and more efficient anyway.
My suggestion is that every time you enter the shop, all recipe items you have bought parts from should be visible. Let me illustrate:

You are Pebbles. You want to buy Daemonic Breastplate aemonicBreastplate, so you buy one of the parts, the Ringmail :Ringmail: :



Now, next time you enter the shop and want to find more parts for the Daemonic Breastplate:



You gotta search for the recipe again...

A scenario where you're a newbie: "Where the heck were the recipe again?"
A scenario where you're a "pro": "I gotta hurry to buy the items, there's a team fight going on!!"

Now, my suggestion is that since you bought that Ringmail from the Daemonic Breastplate section (not the Weapons section), the game will assume that you're buying Daemonic Breastplate so therefore, it should look like this when re-visiting the shop:



The Daemonic Breastplate recipe and parts needed will come up as a quickshop. Do keep in mind that if you would buy the Ringmail from the Weapons section, this tab wouldn't pop up. The Daemonic Breastplate section under Protective is the one that's visible because you bought the Ringmail from that specific section of the shop.
The text that I put there on my own says "Items you were about to buy".

Now, if you wanna buy the the Ring of Sorcery too, you gotta look it up first and buy a part that's needed:



And now, finally, having one part that's needed for Daemonic Breastplate and one part for Ring of Sorcery, it should look like something like this:



Now both recipes and parts needed will pop up.

Do keep in mind that if The Quickshop pops up and you aren't looking for an item in The Quickshop, you can still browse the shop like it is now. Once you click on a shop section (Weapons, Protective, Combative), the Quickshop is invisible and temporarily removed.

The Quickshop is meant to be quicker, and of course there would be an Option in the Interface section where you can disable it if you don't want it. In case you wanna buy parts for recipe items in 4 clicks instead of 2.

(Currently you need to click Shop > Defensive > Ring of Sorcery > Recipe, instead of my suggestion where you'd only need to click Shop > Recipe.)




Some arguments against it:

Learn the hotkeys, biatches.

It would go quicker and would be easier even with hotkeying.
Let's say you have bought the sword and the staff needed for Assassin's Shroud. To grab the recipe, you'd need to press B (Open Shop) > F (Protective) > S (Assassin's Shroud) > E (Assassin's Shroud Recipe).
With Quickshop you'd need to press B (Open Shop) > E (Assassin's Shroud Recipe).

Anvard: Thanks for your input as well, and maybe it is for you, but this sure would've helped me personally while I was still learning this game, and shopping in the game today when I'm actually used to where all items are would be quicker too. Especially when I'm buying items needed for different recipes at the same time! No need to navigate back and forth... just click, and click.
Not that you're not allowed to have an opinion, I'm just sayin'! :P

I'd also like to see a special shop whose menu is dynamically populated with items that can be built from the items that you currently have in your inventory/stash.

Well, I think this is a neat idea.

But what I would like is a list of all recipes that my item can be used in. Like sometimes I buy say the +24 damage warhammer for a shrunken head then im like, oh wait they don't have much magic, I don't need that. What else could I use this warhammer for? And then look at that list and be like, oh, I could make a shield breaker with this! Fantastic!

This already exists for recipes I think but I think it should be included for everything.

I see what you mean. But it wouldn't always be there, whenever you click a shop category it goes away. And you'd be able to disable it too. But that's no excuse really...
I just hate how you have to navigate every time you need a part of the recipe. Since you buy items from that section of the recipe the game should know what item you're getting. Anyway, thanks.
