Dunno why you're messing around with Deadwood when CD will dominate mid harder and can do the ganking. I'd even take Arachna over Deadwood, we want lanedominance and melee solos just aren't as hot as ranged.

Melee solos are in many cases better then ranged and dominate them hard if the solo mid knows what they are doing. You can easily be 2 levels ahead of the ranged solo by the time you hit level 6-7.

Electrician won't do anything before shrunken, there are so many stuns in this pool. And given his farming ability that shrunken isn't going to come very early...

Pash cd can't force deadwood out of the lane and he can't out last hit deadwood. Sure deadwood might have to chuge a lot of potions but cd is going to get no farm and be underleveled.

If people are trying to pick CD vs. Valk, just think that valk provides an AoE + stun as well as a support jump. The ULT isn't really a big factor imo, really depends on the team and how they use it. CD offers a AoE, an decreasing/increasing attack move. Both are solid gankers but the main difference is that Valk gives better team support while CD offers more carry/gank potential.

Go to D-A and read the thread about BS vs Tinker. Pretty much the same scenario. A decent CD outlanes a decent Deadwood.

Deadwood can deny creeps when they are at 50% hp. CD can't do anything to stop that!

Not saying that Valk is a bad idea, might be better than CD. Just saying that CD is a stronger pick than Deadwood. Drasha disagrees though, and when it comes to picking he's proven himself a few times I don't see why he'd pick Deadwood in this case though. I have yet to play Deadwood, so please enlighten me, what is it that he brings that makes him a better pick than CD, Valk or Arachna?

His root synergize really well with Kraken ult. Also he has more STR gain so he can take more AoE-dmg than CD/Valk/Arachna.

you creep pull them near you by clicking attack ss then running away. you chain potions to your self with a courier like any melee hero. ss has a weak auto attack and as long as you don't let him get any last hits his auto attack will stay weak. you are going to out level him easy making his nuke not do that much damage. At level 6 deadwoods ult is going to make ss into an easy kill.

Pretty much, if ss gets caught by his root, falcon punch will ruin his already lousy soul count.

Only option here is - Corrupted + Chronos

Chronos + Voodoo is a pretty much guaranteed triple-quad kill if you have decent players, and CD is great against Hag solo mid, not to mention that his passive works great against casters.
