This mod replaces the default HoN Lobby and game music with the amazing music from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann's Original Sound Track. This music is the perfect balance of manly spirit, determination and camaraderie. With this music in your game, you will never lose.

I tried to order the music so that the first time it cycled through them the song matched what's going on in game. The first songs are somewhat calm and determined sounding, how you would feel at the start of the game. Around the time team battles and team ganking is going on the "danger warning" songs start to play. Again, I just tried to do this. It doesn't work out perfectly, but it's worked out ok in some of my games.
I also tried to pick songs that were audible, but not overpowering. I'd appreciate feedback if any of you find you can't hear both the music and game sounds / voice chat. (The lobby music is an exception to this. I chose a more intense song because there's not really anything to hear in the lobby.) You might have to mess with your music settings a bit, try to tinker with it until you get the right balance as it will be different for everyone.
Anyway, even if you've never heard of this anime (or even if you don't like anime) you still might want to check this out. None of the songs have any japanese words or any references to anime besides the fact that they come from one.

Some people have asked me what exactly Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann is, so i'll do my best to explain it right here.
It's an anime where humans are foced to live in underground communities because if they go to the surface they'll get killed by these "beastmen" that pilot mechs. One day however, this boy named Simon uncovers his own mech while digging out space for his community and he and his friend Kamina and a girl named Yoko go to the surface to try and get humanity their freedom. The show is very over the top (I can't stress this enough, very). Every episode of the show tries to be more and more over the top than the previous one, and the plot moves very fast compared to most longer anime. The show is quick, epic and manly. Also it has tits.

I like this a lot. I just finished Gurren Lagann and it is one amazing anime. Actually the best anime around. It beats bleach and naruto, which are just way to draggy and shitty. Anyways ironically I'm listening to the OST now and while I play, this mid will just make my life so much more awesome now.

yea, tengen toppa gurren lagann is just awesome. I dunno if I should use this mod or the hellgirl mod. I am torn!!
Well I tried it, I liked it, but their is some music I think that is better suited such as the lobby music is kinda.. Ehh to fast to get my really in the "fighting spirit". I would suggest using BafBaf for the lobby music.
Btw I have the complete gurren lagann OST, I could do a little modification to this with some extra music and such.

I personally think it works better because it has more of a buildup to it, and it's longer. Since you're usually in the lobby for a while, a longer song works better. Plus I just thought the current one was too extreme, it was sorta just randomly picked without much thought.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is the best anime ever, saw it years ago. Since then I've seen it over like 10 times. Just so ******* awesome. This is awesome too, thank you.
