very nice guide and highly approve.
couple of updates...
1. there are no tiers in public games anymore, just change the 'Don't join noob allowed games' section to a literally say, play no stat games. any title is fine as long as its no stats. (this will help people learn better)
2. can you add DEFAULT shortcut keys to the shop items assuming the shop is open (thus you do not have to hit 'b' to open shop). for recipe items just put the path to the recipe?
e.g. r-x-w to get courier.
3. add the /ignore commands.
You mixed up Noob with Newb, other than that excellent guide
Eh this guide has some misleading info. Staff for example is awesome on heroes like chipper and plague rider (so much extra damage per bounce the enemy is basically forced to get barrier or die), and Devourer is by no means a waste of a hero slot, even before he was changed.
Overall this is pretty good and straightforward, albeit biased, so I would recommend it to newbies just starting the game (not noobs).
I feel the need to voice one small issue with the slang....
Noob has NEVER meant someone new to the game. You actually got em mixed up...
Newb comes from the term newbie, (thus 'newb'), and refers to someone who's new to something, and may not quite know what to do.
Noob comes from gamer lingo and specifically leet speek and I believe quake lingo years upon years ago, and spread from there. It refers to someone who, while usually not necessarily new to the game or what have you, still have little to no idea on what to do, as they refuse to listen and/or learn.
Just ya know...a heads up ^^;
This is officially the greatest response to an answer containing the phrase 'human suffering' EVER. Of All Time. Period.
How can someone win if winning means that someone loses?
