Id say Soul reaper is a hated enemy aswell, 1v1 he is no big deal but in 5v5 and with your huge life pool he can instant kill u from around 1000 hp with his ulti
good. he just wasted an ulti he should have used on your carry

have you contemplated adding the carry build to your guide as like an alternative choice? it actually is really really effective.
No, if someone else would like to write a carry guide they can feel free to
hint: there's already one floating around here somewhere.
did a minor update. took out a reference to the "new" kotf buff and made the hated section more general because i'm, never going to list every hero that can destroy trees.

but it was your original support kotf guide that convinced me to write this one in the first place! :>

Good read, that. KotF is one my favourite heroes and thus in my most played. People normally groan when you pick him - some even think that you're joking when you say it - but I've played him a lot in 1750+ games, which are generally higher-tier HoN play, to great effect.
I really don't believe in these carry or alternative builds for this hero. They generally seem like a joke/for fun, and I doubt there are many examples of it working in true high level play. I've actually never grabbed a portal key on KotF, but perhaps I will try it. My build is building a restoration stone - he desperately needs the mana reg early game, and the lifetube helps him farm. Basically restoration stone is an absolutely amazing first item on him, as everything about it synergises great with KotF. Then daemonic BP.
Thanks for the guide.
Oh, by the way:

i dunno, i think the carry build is very viable. the elder on him isn't a big deal because he has high base hp and armor, and is damn near unkillable anyway. i've seen this build in a 1600+ game (when i was higher PSR) and it absolutely dominated. your KotF can't be an idiot though and your teammates have to accept the fact that they are going to let keeper carry.
You can turn off the aura...The other problem I have with it is that the active ability pushes the wave. When defending low or medium hp towers you usually need to static farm near them while reapplying Nature's Protection multiple times. This becomes completly impossible with a Mock. You basically lose your major form of farm during the mid game
hi, you must be new to this game
mock hasn't always been toggleable. BTW you're quoting one of my comments in this thread, not the guide itself, incase you didn't notice. I don't look through my old posts for their current accuracy very often (read: at all)

I played against a KotF who wrecked us and got imortal over and over towards the end of the game. Since then, I decided to try Keeper out with somewhat of a build that keeper had. Since then, my team wins about 7 out of 10 games, and I have always gone positive, most of the time, getting twice as many kills as deaths.
Item build:
1) Fort Bracelet and ruins (can take hits and stay in lane till about 8-9.
2) Phase Boots
3)Alch Bones (helps farm tremendously)
4)Elders (you'll see y later, and farming fast)
5)Ruin Axe (farming/regen)
At this point, you're a freaked farm machine doing huge damage as well and regening ur mana fast. When ganking, if ur team is smart and knows how to gank, u get kills and push towers to make the money to get ur Resto Stone and Heart (sell the bracelet). Every game I've played so far, I've always outfarmed everyone in the game, but I'm not always missing lik some. If u absolutely need to be available at all times though, it's not a bad idea to get Post Haste, but between Phase boots and Elders, u get there in no time. Check the stats, I'll let it speak for itself.

dont mean to nitpick but found a typo in the puzzlebox section
'for brining your mana pool'
I'd say that Mock is more important than you make it look, it should be noted that if you use Root, you deal 85 Magic Damage per sec, for 5 secs. If you have Mock then during your ulti you'll do 125. 5 secs will be 625 damage overall, that with normal Magic Armour will still be over 450.
It also helps for chasing people after ulti as the 40 damage per sec will still obviously work.
But I loved this guide, give it a 9/10.
It could have more details on the skills, as how big the range of Tree Sight casting is, etc.
Great guide @ OP!
Two things:
As mentioned before, the carry build can Be very viable on KotF, and anyone who says otherwise simply hasnt tried it imho. The guide 'floating' around in the Guide Section is actually quite good, although its optically not very appealing.
My point being: you should state somewhere at the beginning of the guide, that this is a guide to a full-support KotF, but that there are also other styles to play him, maybe with a link to the other guide?
Second: im really Not sure about this but i thought that couriers with hatchets don't work anymore... Im i wrong about this or are you?
Anyway, beautiful guide!
I think that Drasha in his carry KoTF guide, somewhere in the thread, mentioned that only courier owners can use hatchet on the courier. and that you don't have to stand around to give sight - you find the tree, switch to the courier and order it to cut it and you can go elsewhere, the courier will cut the tree even if you are not around anymore when it arrives to the location. someone could verify this.
Well i actually think that the issue with only the owner being able to 'use' items inside the courier was fixed with the last patch, but what i meant was that it was not possible anymore for players to use hatchets on the courier, no matter who owns them. But as i said, i'm really not sure about this, would be nice to get something official here :-)
and on the topic of 'Carry'-KotF
:-):-)
